-
Generous Size and Grassy Surface:

- Reviewers often mention "friendly dogs" at the park, indicating a positive social environment for canine interaction. This also implies that the majority of owners are responsible and attentive to their pets' behavior.
-
Separate Area for Smaller Dogs:
- While not always highlighted by every reviewer, the presence of a dedicated small dog area is a critical safety and comfort feature. It allows smaller or more timid dogs to enjoy off-leash play without the potential intimidation or risk of injury from larger, more boisterous dogs, catering to a wider range of pet needs.
-
Accessibility and Amenities for Owners:
- The availability of benches and tables means owners can comfortably supervise their pets. The provision of waste bags and water access further enhances the convenience and cleanliness of the park, making it a more pleasant experience for people as well.
-

As a publicly maintained municipal park, the Off-Leash Dog Park at Shepard Kollock does not engage in commercial promotions or sales offers in the traditional retail sense. Instead, its "promotions" are inherent in its public access and community benefits:
-
Free Entry and Use:
- Unlike some private dog parks or facilities, the Off-Leash Dog Park at Shepard Kollock is freely accessible to the public, requiring no admission fee for its use. This makes it an invaluable, cost-effective resource for daily exercise and socialization.
-
Provided Waste Bags:

-
Public Amenities:
- The provision of benches, tables, water access, and waste receptacles are all public services that enhance the user experience without direct cost to the visitor for each use.

Apr 19, 2025 · Adriana DelgadoSmall, friendly dog park. No shade or water but my dog loves it.
Jun 08, 2025 · Jeff JotzGrass throughout, area is clean and well maintained. Comfortable picnic benches. Restrooms closeby. No shelter or water source, one has to bring their own water for the dogs.
Aug 08, 2023 · D TanjavurThere’s only one fenced-in area (for both big + small dogs) and there’s unfortunately no shade. There are a couple benches for owners and a couple of water bowls, but no water source so make sure to bring a water bottle. The grass is well kept and the area is pretty big!
Nov 09, 2024 · Erin HaneyIt's a nice green, well-maintained park with lots of tall and thick trees almost around it. Only have to warn, especially those with small dogs, to watch out for hawks flying around that could anytime grab your furry friend. I was there last weekend with my miniature pinscher when a hawk started flying around above him. Good thing he came to me when I called him. The hawk flew away around the trees, then was gone. Must've hid away in the trees and waiting for another chance.
