I’ve been coming to this Petco since adding a new member to the family—my puppy—and overall, it’s been a great experience. I visit regularly for my dog’s routine care and nutritious meals. However, I’ve had ongoing issues with a cashier named Sabrina. She often makes things unnecessarily complicated, especially regarding my Vital Care membership. For example, when it comes to the complimentary bag that members receive with their purchase, she insists that I didn’t scan the code, even though my membership is clearly visible when I enter my number. Additionally, she charged me over $2 for a donation I didn’t authorize. Overall, interacting with her has been frustrating.

This company is just plain greedy. They used to offer a premier care plan that was worth joining. The company decided they wanted to male more money and canceled it. Then with all the negative feedback, they decided to bring it back, but now charge way more for it. I had bought 8 bags of dog food. After the 10th, I would get a free bag. I went and bought 2 more bags. They don't have my account on file anymore and won't honor it. I showed them my account on the app. I was told, sorry, nothing we can do. They just rip people off. Find other places to get whatever you need for your pets.

Brought my small Yorkie puppy, Muffin here for grooming. I was very nervous since we had a bad experience at a different groomers we went to prior. This petco did a fantastic job! They explained everything in terms of home care for her fur. Muffin was matted and we didn’t want her shaved, but the stylist explained our options and showed us exactly how her hair would look after. They kept Muffin comfortable and clean! She came out looking adorable. Our groomer was Joann, she did a fantastic job, and was very sweet! Highly recommend!

I came here with my sister to get some supplies for my cat and dogs. Got told by the cashier that we shouldn't buy the cat food because it would get them sick, skinny and eventually kill them because of what's inside the ingredients. That she loves her cats and does her research. I don't appreciate being told that. The cashier said she didn't want to scare us but my sister went home upset and crying. I understand that each pet parent has different views but don't stand there and tell us that we don't care for our cat for the type of food we're buying. Completely unprofessional.
