It’s a very cute park but the city really needs to maintain it. The grass was in much need of cutting/ trimming. Lots of poops left over from pet parents that can’t bend over to pick up their 4 legged children’s poop. Be mindful of were you are stepping…

Newbark Dog Park is designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching off-leash experience for dogs, focusing on safety, exercise, and socialization.
- Dedicated Off-Leash Areas: The park spans approximately 1 acre and features separated, fence-enclosed areas with double-gated entrances and exits. This crucial design allows for safe off-leash play and helps manage the flow of dogs entering and exiting.
- Separate Zones for Different Sizes: Newbark Dog Park thoughtfully includes distinct sections for large dogs and a smaller area specifically designated for dogs under 30 pounds. This separation helps ensure that smaller or more timid dogs can play comfortably without being intimidated by larger breeds.
- Agility Equipment: The park is equipped with various agility elements, providing opportunities for dogs to engage in stimulating physical and mental exercises beyond just running.
- Water for Canines and Owners: Drinking fountains are available for both dogs and their human companions, ensuring that everyone stays hydrated during active play. Individual water bowls for dogs are permitted but must be removed after use.

Apr 02, 2025 · Nuria NavarreteThis has been our go-to dog park for the last 5 years and our Petunia has a blast every single time. There are a lot of regulars who are very attentive to their dogs so its always a great experience.
Jun 01, 2025 · Mariela ChaconI would not recommend this park due to ongoing issues with public intoxication and disturbances. It often feels unsafe and unwelcoming, with some individuals engaging in disrespectful or hostile behavior. In contrast, Fremont Park offers a safer and more inclusive environment, with a friendly community and more social opportunities, especially for dog owners. Unfortunately, the regular crowd at this park exhibits discriminatory behavior, making it an uncomfortable space for some visitors. I hope to see improvements in safety and overall atmosphere.
Feb 24, 2025 · XWe came on a Saturday afternoon with the sun shining. Our pup has never been to a dog park and it was time to introduce her to the experience. There was no one there unfortunately, but it turned out perfect. She explored and ran and was happy to leave after a little while. Tiny tails area for small dogs and Big Bark side for large dogs. Nice place with dog bags and water faucets.
Nov 30, 2024 · Cindy MendezWonderful place for dogs to run around and socialize. Separate small dog area too. Separate playground for children with lots of picnic tables.
