Services Offered
Miramar Paw Central Dog Park is primarily an off-leash play area, but it offers several key services and functionalities to enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Off-Leash Play Environment: The core service is providing a secure, fenced area where dogs can run, play, and socialize without the constraints of a leash. This is crucial for canine mental and physical health.
- Separate Areas for Small and Large Dogs: To ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs, the park features distinct, separated sections for small dogs and large dogs. This prevents potential issues that can arise from different play styles and sizes.
- Registration and Access Control: For the safety and health of all park users, owners must register their dogs with the City of Miramar Regional Park office. This includes providing proof of current vaccinations, ensuring that all dogs using the park are healthy and protected. Upon registration, an access code is provided, which is required to enter the dog park. This system helps maintain a controlled and safe environment.
- Waste Management: The park is equipped with dog poop bag dispensers and waste receptacles. Park staff regularly restock bags and empty bins, promoting a clean and hygienic environment for everyone.

May 22, 2025 · Mike McDonaldThis is a fantastic park! I love that there are separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring everyone feels safe and comfortable. The big dog area is spacious, but it would be even better with a paved walkway in the back. This would make it easier to navigate, especially on rainy days and minimize the risk of being in the dogs' way.
Jan 17, 2025 · Adriana Mendoza-ReyLike almost everything in the city of miramar , some positives, lots of negatives ! Park is divided ,then again, all are , so for one of the reviewers that said " I love that is divided in lg and small dogs " take ur dog more often to dog parks...the new picnic table under roof a great , now cones the bombs! No hoses , no restrooms , moccasins snakes seen many times bcs of the side little lake/ woods....and the code thingy annoys a lot of people...then again, Miramar .....btw ,to the people who go there weekdays ( gates housesare closed ) try the first 4 numbers to go in and to go out ,but prepare to sometimes do it multiple times ....why ? MIRAMAR
May 11, 2025 · mario escotoThis is the first time I've encountered this, to enter the park you need a code for the door, and to get the code you need to go to the office and register your dog by showing a vaccination certificate!!! I've never seen this in any dog park in Hollywood, Hallandale and Miami Dade. I just wanted to walk my dog for 10 minutes…
Feb 10, 2025 · SophiaLove it for my dog. Barely busy. A water fountain is a available. But the park needs more benches and shaded area.
