very nice little park! it’s a relatively small dog run with a area for big and small dogs, each containing a small fountain that you can pump out into either a overhead spray or into a duvet that can be filled up a little bit for wading and washing off feet. though small, the park is very nice, with plenty of seating, clean-up bags available, and very clean and well lit. the fences are tall and sturdy, which is always something to look for if your dog is as speedy as mine! it’s very conveniently located downtown, but that does mean finding parking is going to be something of an adventure. though the entrance from the main area of the park requires a brief walk down some stairs, there’s an entrance from Milam Street at street level that is much more easily accessible for anyone that might struggle with mobility. all in all, for a small dog run it’s really quite nice, and fills it’s purpose well!

Nice dog park. This is my third time coming. There some friendly dogs and tolerable humans. I just wish ppl could follow the dog size rule. My GSD & friend lab mix has no problem with small dog but that dog was on her heel, I said something and they walked away. Didn’t want no issues 🤷🏽‍♀️

Great park! Smells kind of bad but besides that my pup loved it! The water spraying thing is a must for the summer!

Convenient location for neighboring residential buildings, nice to have a spot to let the dog off leash, but otherwise just a dirt pit. Combination of the water fountain, the dirt floor and poor compliance of guests with cleaning after their pets mean we dont go here very often even though we live immediately adjacent to it.

This dogpark was just okay. Since it is right in the middle of downtown, parking can be tricky. Getting out of a vehicle alongside a busy street with a dog can cause some anxiety. The park itself is fairly small but it "gets the job done" I guess. If you have a small dog and live in the Downtown area, I'd say it's probably worth a go. If it's a tad out of your way and you have a large dog like me, maybe not. Also, Barnaby's Restaurant is right across the street so that's cool.
