Love this park, except I have a husky with a really strong prey drive. She's also 7 months and not completely trained. She swam out, spotted two pelicans, and swam after them. Ten minutes later, after switching to chasing after ducks, she ended up on the OTHER side of the lake. Luckily a good Samaritan caught her when she came out of the water and held her until I drove over to the park on the other side. Quite a scary experience. Sad I can't bring her back, at least until she's super well trained.

Apr 18, 2025 · Dorothy LinOkay, let's get into it! What I like most about this dog park is that they have small and big dogs separated. Well, at least for the folks that follow the rules. Features: * Doggy obstical course * Area where dogs can swim * dog water fountains, bag stations, dog showers * 2 shaded pavilions in both park areas. * Two trails to walk in the dog area. One longer trail and a shorter trail. As always, you have to keep a good eye on your fur, baby. But my dog loves it here and loves that he can be free and roam and get all the scents. He will play a little but mainly likes to explore and sniff around. Outside of the dog park, there is like a 2-mile trail you can walk. There is also a large playground opposite of the dog park on the other side of the lake. Overall, a great park!
Jul 09, 2022 · Ms. ReeReally nice place to ride my bike. The water is always a pleasant site to see and enjoy the reflection of the sun in the evening…
Nov 10, 2024 · Kelvin WilliamsonWe took our two> under 20 pound beagles to the dog park today 4/15/23 for the first time for us. It was really nice and well maintained I was really very impressed by it. I was disappointed by some of the larger dogs in the small dog area and by some people paying no attention to their dogs, and a couple of dogs outside the park off lead. But we had e nice overall experience.
Apr 16, 2023 · Bryan OttReally nice walking spot!! :) It’s nice that there’s an artificial late near the park and walking path! Got to see many fun animals around the walking loop! It took me about 30 mins to walk all around the lake without taking breaks. Very nice place to come walk and refresh from daily works! People are walking and running so it’s nice to meet new people as well! Definitely recommended! Come and have a walk around!!
