Good afternoon to everyone. I have not made a post. And I usually do not leave a negative comment. Nevertheless, this park is awful. Henderson Park and recreation, please address this park asap. I have never seen parks, especially this one in such a poor state. I do not know where to begin. I will leave pictures to give a better explanation on what is wrong with a park. Even though I know many parents might be upset That the park will need to be closed for a week or two but they will be happy in the end result. Not only the park but also the skate park Needs to be addressed. There's broken boards missing nails missing screws. And also screws sticking out.

Welcome to Cactus Wren Park
For dog owners across Nevada, particularly in the bustling Henderson area, providing our canine companions with dedicated spaces for exercise, socialization, and off-leash play is a top priority. Cactus Wren Park stands as a key local resource in Henderson, offering a public dog park where pups can stretch their legs and make new friends.
Dog parks are more than just fenced-in areas; they are vibrant community hubs. They provide an essential outlet for dogs to burn off energy, practice their social skills with other canines, and explore new scents and sights. Nov 05, 2024 · oliver leivaGoogle and the website of the city of Henderson states that the park is open till midnight. I arrived at 11:15 and a police officer met me in the parking lot saying that while the park is closed I may be able to still take my dogs over to the fenced area for dogs. Lights weren't on and while the park was generally nice, it would've been nicer had the city of Henderson updated their hours. I tend to work mid day and dont get of till 10PM. I would like to find a park that is open until midnight WITH THE LIGHTS ON AND NOT BE CONFRONTED BY POLICE!!!!
May 18, 2025 · Ernesto VelaGreat park, hidden away. Bike paths connect to the 215 trail and a bridge that gets you across At Rose Parkway safely. The park has sports fields, play areas, a huge dog park, and lots of great features. It's not well known because it's in the back of a neighborhood near Lowe's on S. Eastern near St Rose.
Oct 03, 2024 · Craig KingIt's a really nice park, organized well. The walking path has censored lights, goes along the grass area and skateboard ramps, and continues to dog park areas, smaller than normal dog parks. For me, 800 steps per lap. Ball courts well lit, next to play ground and restrooms, also just off the parking area. This park also has a baseball diamond. Everything is steps away from each other and centrally located. Njoy FolkZ ✔️😁🤘🏼
Apr 30, 2024 · iPACA1Nice park not to crowded has play grounds and big grease area and an open baseball field that you do not have to have a key to use. This was a great place for my son to practice pitching and catching the hitting could be difficult with having to chase balls and all but this is honestly a great park in a good area
