Services Offered

As a pop-up public amenity, the Bothell Pop-up Dog Park focuses on providing a secure and enjoyable environment for off-leash canine activity. While it doesn't offer commercial "services" in the traditional sense, it provides essential features that cater to the needs of dogs and their owners.

  • Dedicated Off-Leash Play Areas: The primary offering is a spacious area where dogs can run, play, and interact freely without the constraint of a leash. This freedom is crucial for a dog's physical exercise and mental stimulation.
  • Separate Large and Small Dog Areas: A standout feature, the park is thoughtfully designed with distinct sections for larger dogs and smaller breeds. This separation helps ensure a safer and more comfortable play experience for all dogs, reducing potential intimidation or accidental rough play between different sizes.
  • Fenced Enclosure: The entire pop-up dog park area is fully fenced, providing a secure perimeter that gives dog owners peace of mind while their pets are off-leash. This containment helps prevent dogs from wandering off and ensures a controlled environment.
  • Ample Space for Play: Despite its temporary nature, the park offers "plenty of room to run, play or chase a ball," as highlighted by a happy customer. This generous space allows for energetic play and helps prevent overcrowding, even when popular.
  • Waste Disposal Stations: Essential for maintaining cleanliness, the park is equipped with convenient waste disposal stations, often including complimentary bags, encouraging responsible pet ownership and keeping the area tidy for everyone.
  • Community Gathering Spot: While not a "service," the park inherently facilitates social interaction among dog owners, creating a welcoming community where neighbors can meet and share their love for dogs.

Features / Highlights

The Bothell Pop-up Dog Park truly shines with several key features and highlights that make it a highly anticipated and well-loved spot for local dog owners during its operational season.

  • Seasonal Availability: As a "pop-up" park, its return each summer is a celebrated event. This seasonal nature makes each visit feel special and anticipated, aligning perfectly with good weather for outdoor play. It's typically available from late spring/early summer until October, making it a prime warm-weather destination.
  • Dual Play Areas (Large and Small Dogs): This is a significant highlight, ensuring inclusivity and safety. Having clearly designated, separate spaces for large and small dogs allows for more appropriate play dynamics and reduces the risk of injury or stress for smaller breeds. It shows a thoughtful approach to accommodating the diverse needs of the canine community.
  • Prime Downtown Location: Situated within The Park at Bothell Landing, the dog park benefits from a beautiful setting that鈥檚 easy to get to. Its downtown location means it's convenient for many Bothell residents and accessible from main routes.
  • Free and Abundant Parking: The presence of "plenty of free parking" is a major convenience for visitors. Easy parking makes the park stress-free to access, allowing more time for play and less time searching for a spot.
  • Spacious Layout: Despite being a pop-up, the park offers "plenty of room to run, play or chase a ball." This ample space is crucial for dogs to truly stretch their legs and engage in vigorous exercise, preventing feelings of confinement.
  • Positive Community Vibe: Reviews frequently mention "Good people and their dogs!" and the opportunity to "get out and meet your neighbors." This highlights the park's success in fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, not just for dogs but for their owners too.
  • Temporary and Unique Experience: The fact that it's a "pop-up" adds to its charm and urgency. Locals know they need to "come down while you can" before it's "gone by October," creating a sense of shared, fleeting enjoyment.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a public, temporary amenity managed by the city, the Bothell Pop-up Dog Park does not typically offer commercial promotions, discounts, or special offers in the traditional retail sense. Its primary "offer" is the free and accessible space it provides for the community's dogs and their owners.

However, the park's very nature as a "pop-up" during the warmer months could be considered its unique seasonal "special offer" to the community. Its limited-time availability from roughly May/June until October creates an urgency and value, encouraging locals to utilize it while it's present.

Occasionally, the City of Bothell Parks and Recreation department or local pet-related organizations might host free community events, dog-friendly festivals, or educational workshops in conjunction with public parks. While these aren't direct promotions for the dog park itself, they may take place near or be advertised at the park. For information on such potential events, it's advisable to check the official City of Bothell website's Parks and Recreation section or local community event calendars. Staying connected with local pet groups on social media can also provide alerts on any informal gatherings or community-driven initiatives at the park.

Great park. My dog has had mostly fantastic times here. Good people and their dogs! Good population of small dogs.

We love to take our dog here. It's a nice size for the dogs to run around in. We are teaching our dog to catch a frisbee. Plus he is ball crazy. So we need a nice sized place for him to run in. There is two sides to this dog park, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. A couple of picnic tables for the humans to sit on, and the best part is there are garbage cans to throw away trash and waste.
