This place was a lovely small petstore. I would have given it a 5 but one member of staff in particular didn't seem to want to be bothered by anyone and would rather sit and BS with friends or on their phone. The gentleman working there, I wish I could remember his name, was absolutely lovely, very good customer service skills, nice to talk to and more than happy to help with anything needed. I would give him 5 stars, hands down. The other employee left a sour taste in my mouth. I ended up getting a cornsnake from there and it's healthy and I've had no issues with it. Their animals seem to be in good health and most enclosures were very suitable for the animals. Some very cute kitties waiting to be adopted as well!

Used to be alot better but has declined over the last few years. Really wish the staff was enthusiastic about caring for the animals and store. The store is clean and fairly equipped, but selection is somewhat limited.

The store manager severely lacks customer service skills! She always has an angry look on her face and acts as if your presence in the store is an inconvenience to her. I do understand that people have bad days and I am willing to give them grace in those circumstances but that is not the situation here. I adopted my current dog from this store in 2018 and have continued to support the small business since then. I purchase my dog's food from the store about every 45 days and it never fails, she is behind the counter with a scowl on her face and is less than helpful to customers. I would be embarrassed by her behavior as the store manager if I was the store owner! Today is the last day that I will support this business because of this employee!

This place should be called “cruelty-zoo”. The service is 1 out of 10. The owner/ Manager whoever she is, the most unfriendly business person i have ever met. I asked to talk to her and she sent someone else instead of her. I only gave 2 start because the young boy in the register was friendly and helpful. BY THE WAY!! They dont care for them animals, they have fishes literally roasting dead in the thank for weeks, a lot of fishes are under weight. You can see they struggling, I witnessed because i went 2 weeks after and the dead fish was still there. The manager/owner sits with a friend in the front gossiping about other customers. She literally looked at me, whisper to her friend and both giggle. So unprofessional and disgusting, anyways i took my money to petsmar and they was more then happy to assist and charge my card $587.23. PS: you are a terrible business manager that loses a lot of venue with your mediocre services.

I used to love coming here. I would recommend it to everyone I knew who has reptiles. However as of late, the service is terrible. The cashiers are rude, if they even notice you at all. I just spent five minutes waiting when someone walked away from me. A year or so ago I had inquired about a reptile that had ended up passing in their care and was ignored because they didn’t know how to approach the situation. Unprofessional and the mistreatment of their animals is absolutely unforgivable. I will no longer be going here and will spend the extra money in gas to go to Lancaster instead.
