We JUST got our first pet in over a decade and went here for all of our basics. There were 2 wonderful employees who helped us find what we needed. Not only that, these employees shared my kiddos’ WILD ENTHUSIASM about their first cat. And my kids were SO EXCITED! Both employees played along, even though we all know they see this day-in, day-out. It was so, so sweet and kind of them! Not only that, one of my kiddos is on the autism spectrum and he doesn’t really know how to feel in his enthusiasm for public consumption and he was quite loud. They were so understanding and kind that he left there feeling just as excited & maybe even a little extra loved too. Kudos to this team!

We purchased a tank from here and had some troubles with scratches and chips on the tank. Jim helped us out multiple times. He had great customer service and went above and beyond to get us a replacement and make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. I would highly recommend them for their great customer service alone!

I really wanted to like Petco. I’ve always been a petsmart customer. However Petco does have slightly different products sometimes. After my visit yesterday, I will never be returning to this one or any Petco in the US. I bought one Betta fish from here and it is now infected my entire aquarium with Ich. So I go back there to see what they recommend. I was given Microbe-life Herbatana parasite treatment. I was told to do a 30-40% water change and dose as instructed, which I did everything they told me. I wish I would have looked on Google or Reddit before introducing this poison to my tank. Within minutes of putting this into my tank half my aquarium is dead or paralyzed. My water parameters were perfect before I put this in. Do yourself a favor and double check anything they recommend to you.

There is never anyone there to help me. So many times I await around for 15/20 mins and never get help so I go to Petsmart. Today was the straw that did it. I asked for help got sas " I will find someone " just for the to go to the store manager and Chit chat while I stood waiting for help. So now I guess it will always be petsmart.
