Your Basic Bird

Brought my son here this morning for his birthday and the staff was beyond rude. We walked in and were given a dirty look and not greeted at all. I asked a question and was responded to in one word and no explanation saying give us a few to handle something and we will be with you. I asked if we were bothering them and was told they were too busy to help us. I'm a very patient and understanding person, but these two gentlemen were rude. I have never been treated this way in a store.

I’m super concerned about the birds here. They have massive birds in small cages and all the bird cages are filthy, as others have mentioned. I’ve walked through here recently and many other times in the past and it’s concerning. So many birds in a small cage and huge ones in small cages too. All day and all night. That isn’t how a bird wants to live. They’re basically holding birds hostage for their life in filthy smelly cages

I had a great experience here getting my first bird, Bean(hand-fed budgie)! The staff were very polite and knowledgeable, and stayed to answer all our questions while there about being a first-time bird owner. Bean came home with us healthy and is now a tame, happy and healthy bird that has plenty of enrichment and has been with me for 7 months now! The place itself was very organized and all the birds there seemed happy and taken good care of. I do plan on going back to get Bean a friend, and I am confident that I will again have a pleasant experience. 10/10 recommend!
