Vicious Fishes

This company was taking care of a pond at a house I bought. The pond had a foot of sludge at one end and the Koi were lethargic. I looked in the biological filter to find a solid brick of muck and chopped up dead fish that died and were sucked in the skimmer, and their pieces ended up stuck in the biological filter. I asked Tim, the owner to give me a quote on cleaning and replacing media in the biological filter and clean the muck out of the pond. He asked " what's your concern?" , this is the owner of the company!!!! They did clean up the pond. It had apparently never had a water change, all the koi died, every one. We fired Tim, I now spend about 2 hours a month now taking care of the pond and it's beautiful and the Koi are thriving. This all was back in 2018-2019 that he was servicing our pond. The reason I am just now putting this review is because a friend of mine just hired Tim to build him a pond cause he wanted koi. Let's just say the result of that pond has caused me to make this review in the hope no one else will use this company. My experience is that this company displays no quality ethic at all. I would avoid them. There are not many choices in this area for pond construction or care that are affordable. But you would probably do a much better job yourself. I'm hoping my friend's pond works out better than I expect it will.

The owner Tim, had an employee at our house within 1 hour to fix our fountain. The employee Gustavo did an EXCELLENT JOB! Our fountain works better then EVER! I'm extremely happy and will recommend the services of them to EVERYONE. They supplied the needed parts, cleaned the fountain and now the birds that use our fountain for a refreshing break from the sun have their fountain. Thank you Tim and Vicious Fishes for an excellent job.

We just got our Koi pond installed this week! And let me tell you we are so happy with the outcome. Tim and his hardworking team created something that was even better by far than what was expected...we absolutely love it!!!! vicious fishes is highly recommended, they are very professional, they finished when they said they would and they even left our backyard spotless and not a single plant was displaced 😊 Tim you and your crew went far and beyond what was expected and for that we are truly grateful thank you for this beautiful, relaxing pond that we hope to enjoy for many years to come. Hard to find, hours by appointment only. Edit: this is not your typical walk in fish hobbyist shop so my prior review was not accurate. They mainly service businesses and higher end clients and I've heard good things in that regard.
