I love this fish shop! They always have a great healthy selection of all types of fresh water and salt water fish and also a superb selection of accessories/supplies.

I have been to every aquarium store in the Bay Area, and Ultimate Aquarium is by far the best store there is and well worth the drive no matter where you live. Ultimate has the best and healthiest selection of fresh and saltwater fish, plants, corals and creatures. And most importantly, each member of their staff is highly knowledgeable and able to recommend exactly what you need or are looking for without unnecessarily upselling you. I’ve been coming here for nearly two years and I always joke that this is every aquatic hobbyists “Cheers”—because everyone really does know everyone and their tanks!

I've never been to an aquarium shop or had fish but what I can tell you is that this place is fantastic. The store is clean, their selection is huge and the people working actually enjoy talking about fish and helping. The gentleman that helped me walked me through everything I needed to do to prep a barrel, even suggested alternative options they didn't have that were cheaper and ultimately just made for a great experience. I look forward to going back in August when we can add more fish to our little pond. 5 stars, 10/10

Really lovely location - knowledgeable staff; good stock of fresh and saltwater fish and inverts; nice selection of tanks, supplies, and decor. Definitely my go-to aquarium store in this part if the Bay! One thing that I wish was better is their limited stock of freshwater plants, but those doesn't really seem to be their main specialty. They have the basic popular species, but not more than that.

In the entire Peninsula area, not many aquarium store options. I would said this is the best one in terms of selection and decent prices. There tanks stays clean. Skip your Petsmart and Petco and come here.
