The Waterfront

My favorite fish store by far. Most of the fish in my Malawi show tank and other African tanks have been sourced through waterfront. When I first started keeping fish they were always patient with me, never made me feel dumb, and were willing to educate me. By now that I’m fully addicted to fish keeping and have 7 aquariums in my house they help me source specific fish I want to add to my collection. My most recent score and priced possession from Waterfront is this adult male fully chipped star sapphire and wow is all I can say. What a gorgeous fish 🤓

By far the best selection and quality of any fish store I’ve been to. Always bringing in new fish that you wouldn’t expect to see at your local store and also can order in most things you ask for….10/10🙏🙏

Highly recommend - knowledgeable and helpful staff who stand behind their fish. I often travel 6+ hours to visit as they offer the best selection around and have even had thousands in fish shipped to my home in Idaho. They are experts at what they do and quickly respond to questions and concerns via text.

This store is run by 3 people and it's alright. They seem to carry some decent high end fish. They also seem to know what they're doing and take good care of most of the fish. My only complaints are that sometimes when I ask to purchase a single fish, they'll say they are only selling in pairs. And If I go back to request a pair, they'll say I have to get 3 or more. But if my tank is already full, I can't risk adding 3 more fish. It's a bit inconsistent. My other complaint is that they only offer returns within 5 days, most fish stores are 12-15 days, because fish can be unnoticeably sick when you buy them. On a random side note: A good number of the fish you see in the store are already pre-sold to someone. And tanks with large amounts of fish are often quarantined (QT) and not for sale. So pay attention to the tank labels.

Hands down most amazing fish store in Utah! I’m by no means an experienced fish keeper, but I really love making the trip out to the Waterfront. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help you. If you need something specific, they’ll try to order it in for you. The store is extremely clean and doesn’t smell at all. The fish are healthy and happy. They have everything from micro community fish to mbu puffers! And they are a retail partner store of Aquarium Co-Op🎉Definitely expect to see some amazing and rare fish!
