Lots of things for doggies, and my pet was very happy- but things are quite pricey. We got him a treat, a bow tie, and his girlfriend a bow. He absolutely loved being in there, but again, pricey for the items. Woman working was nice and friendly.

The Seattle Barkery Introduce

For dog owners in Kirkland, Washington, and the surrounding areas, The Seattle Barkery, located at 11900 NE Village Plaza #160, 98034, offers a unique and specialized experience as a "Pet Store Near Me," particularly catering to canine companions. Unlike traditional pet stores with a broad range of animals, The Seattle Barkery appears to focus primarily on dogs, offering a delightful assortment of treats, toys, and apparel. Based on customer reviews, this establishment is known for its welcoming atmosphere and a dedicated staff that creates a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.

The environment of The Seattle Barkery seems to be particularly appealing to dogs. One reviewer mentioned that their pet "absolutely loved being in there," suggesting a dog-friendly and engaging atmosphere. This could be attributed to the presence of tempting treats, interesting toys, and perhaps even the welcoming demeanor of the staff towards canine visitors. The store likely creates a space where dogs feel comfortable and perhaps even excited to visit. While specific details about the store's layout and design are not provided, the positive reaction from dogs indicates an environment tailored to their interests and perhaps allowing them to explore (under supervision, of course).

The primary offerings of The Seattle Barkery revolve around specialized products for dogs. The reviews highlight "cute treats, toys, and clothing." This suggests that the store goes beyond basic necessities and provides a range of fun and perhaps even artisanal items for dogs. The treats are likely a significant draw, possibly featuring unique flavors or ingredients that appeal to dogs. The mention of bow ties and clothing indicates that the store also offers fashionable accessories for canine companions, allowing owners to express their dog's personality. The selection of toys is also likely curated to provide enrichment and entertainment for dogs of various sizes and breeds.

A significant feature of The Seattle Barkery is the exceptional customer service, particularly highlighted by the friendly and kind staff. One reviewer specifically mentioned a staff member named Julie for "always spoiling" their dog, indicating a personal and caring interaction. The willingness of the staff to engage positively with the dogs seems to create a loyal customer base, as evidenced by the reviewer whose "nervous pup loves them all." This personal touch and genuine affection for dogs appear to be a key differentiator for The Seattle Barkery.

While the positive aspects of The Seattle Barkery are evident in the customer reviews, one reviewer did mention that "things are quite pricey." They noted purchasing a treat, a bow tie, and a bow, and while their dog loved being in the store, the cost of the items was perceived as high. This suggests that The Seattle Barkery might focus on unique, high-quality, or perhaps artisanal products, which could justify a higher price point compared to mass-market pet stores. However, this is an important consideration for budget-conscious shoppers.

Given the focus on unique treats, toys, and clothing, The Seattle Barkery likely curates its selection carefully, possibly featuring local or small-batch producers. This could contribute to the higher price point but also offer products that are not commonly found in larger chain stores. The emphasis on treats might also indicate a focus on natural or specialty ingredients that are beneficial for dogs' health.

The reviews do not provide specific details about any ongoing promotional offers or loyalty programs at The Seattle Barkery. However, the positive experiences shared by customers, particularly regarding the friendly staff and the unique product selection, could be considered a form of value that attracts and retains customers. To inquire about any current promotions or new product arrivals, local users are encouraged to contact the store directly at (206) 851-1549 or +1 206-851-1549.

In conclusion, The Seattle Barkery in Kirkland, WA, offers a distinctive experience as a "Pet Store Near Me" for dog owners. It stands out for its dog-friendly environment, a curated selection of cute treats, toys, and clothing, and exceptionally friendly staff who go the extra mile to make both dogs and their owners feel welcome. While some customers have noted that the prices are on the higher side, the unique and potentially high-quality nature of the products, coupled with the personalized service, may justify the cost for many dog owners looking for something special for their furry companions. For local residents seeking a pet store that offers a delightful and engaging experience specifically tailored for dogs, The Seattle Barkery appears to be a worthwhile visit. Contacting the store directly can provide more information about their current offerings and any special promotions.

Without a doubt my pup Elsa will always drag me over here when we’re on lunch break! Everyone is always so kind, and my nervous pup loves them all! They have such cute treats, toys, and clothing. Shout out to Julie for always spoiling my girl so much! We love it here.

Serving up freshly made treats since 2014! The Seattle Barkery became the first of its kind in the PNW, combining food trucks with dogs. Since then, we’ve added a treat TRAILER, a BAR, as well as a stand alone SHOP located in the heart of the Emerald city! We are family owned and use local ingredients as well as partner with other passionate, local makers here in the Northwest. We only give the highest quality treats and customer service to each pup-stomer!

Love the Barkery! They have the cutest stuff for dogs (and a little bit for cats) and make a big effort to sell items in their shop made by small businesses and crafters of the PNW. The entrance is currently tagged in the wrong place on Google so until Google fixes that I wanted to try to spread the word via a review. It's on the parking lot side of the plaza, not the 120th side and it's actually in the other building too, not the one with Trader Joe's and Nordstom Rack.
