My family and I had such a fantastic experience here! Even more than we expected after having a horrible experience at Petco. It was like night and day. The Painted Reptile really knows how to appropriately educate their customers, and I’m so grateful they did and with the approach in which they did it. They clearly know that I know nothing about reptiles, so they very kindly explained which reptiles would be a good fit for our home and which would require a lot more maintenance. Without that knowledge, I would have brought home a new pet that I would have been overwhelmed with and even worse, put that new pet under unnecessary stress. So because of their due diligence, we were able to confidently choose the best reptile for our family. We left well informed with everything we needed to know to properly care for our leopard gecko, Dottie. We also know that The Painted Reptile is only a phone call away if we ever have any questions. They aren’t the closest reptile store to me, but I will travel the extra distance to support this business because they go the extra mile for their customers and their reptiles.

I bought my daughter a bearded dragon from here in March. Everyone that works there is amazing. Brenda our dragon is healthy and adjusted fast. They were able to answer any questions or concerns I had the first couple days whenever I called. The prices are great! We are really enjoying are new family member

i was boarding my two white's tree frogs here starting 8/17 and on monday 8/21 they called to tell me that they had accidentally sold them. they're saying now they think that they were stolen. i'm really not sure what's going on & my texts are just straight up being ignored now. i just want my babies back. if you or anybody you know got a couple white's tree frogs between those days PLEASE let me know, i've had them for years and i'm devastated. happy to take this review down if/when they're returned to me but for now please keep this in mind!!

Boarded my bearded dragon for 2 weeks while I was out of the country for the holidays. They took great care of him and he looks just as healthy as I left him. Friendly staff that seem to know their business! My only downside would be that I wasn’t allowed to see his enclosure before leaving him there or after. So I still have no clue what kind of environment he was in truly.
