I got my Gracie there about 1.5 years ago on a whim and I couldn’t be happier! She is an absolute love and sweet. She’s a mini schnauzer and the experience was great when we went and saw her. The customer service was wonderful and the process was seamless. Gracie was very healthy and I was very happy that they included all her paperwork, shot records and contact information of where they got her from. Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. Most of them have to do with puppies who are ill. Yes, it is unfortunate and stressful but you would find these illnesses at any breeder or shelter as well. It’s not the facility. Puppies are very susceptible. I saw a comment about Parvo. Parvo is one of the most common illnesses puppies get regardless of where you get the animal from. It’s very contagious and the animal can pick it up from anywhere regardless of their age (which is something I wasn’t aware of until my vet told me when I called because a friend’s dog from the dog park contracted it and Gracie was around them.) It’s a quick fix at the vet and the number one illness that vet checks for at the first visit (which should be immediate after getting the animal) for due to being so common. Remember, just as humans have illnesses and issues, so do animals. Highly recommend. I actually have to stay away because if I see another mini schnauzer I will have another mini schnauzer! :)

Had a great experience! Not sure what these bad reviews expected walking into a pet store. Sure it smells a little but lets be real they are housing animals! The folks that complain about puppy mills?! Why are you even stepping foot in this place! My animal also came with kennel cough but if you took the time to review the paper work this place sends your home you'd notice all previous vet checks and medications they were on in their care. Or even google kennel cough, its HIGHLY common and HIGHLY contagious. I do know the vet they use cause ALL of my animals go there including my farm animals and they are great people as well. If you are going to complain about this place go to a rescue...they actually have a rescue in the same building (two completely different companies). I see numerous reviews getting the two confused. Either way, my experience was great! Iris answered all of our questions, wasn't a pushy sales person & i am forever grateful for my fur-babes. I'll be back for a few more ;)!!

We've gotten 4 amazing pups from The Dog House over the years-- most recently a Havachon we named Ella. Our experience has always been very positive. Their staff is knowledgeable and the store has a wide selection of breeds at fair prices. To anyone looking for a healthy, purebred pup, I highly recommend they visit the store.

I purchased my chihuahua a month ago. Iris was wonderful, going above and beyond to make this a posive experience. I am impressed with this pet store as it is a lot of work to care for a few pups and they have so many. They really do a great job staying on top of things. My dog tested positive for giardia at his first vet visit. I want to say, my daughter purchased a puppy from The Dog House a year ago. The dog is the center of her life, and was healthy at purchase and still is a healthy little girl. Unfortunately a sickness can occur in any animal and I am so happy The Dog House took my little pup, who was then able to be passed on to me. I love animals, and I am grateful it was me that was able to improve his life. Iris, thank you, and continue doing what you're doing. You are very good at it.
