Show Me Reptile Shop (Springfield)

Got an excellent price on a snake i didn't want for my daughters birthday. She named it Asher which means "happy, blessed" and that means the world to me. I got the biggest bear hug from my 13 yr old. Which was ultimately my goal. As a man I don't like snake, as a father I can learn to appreciate them through the eyes of my sweetheart.

The Staff here are friendly and are very helpful. They have a beautiful habitat for all of their reptiles , and creatures. So even if you don't buy something at the time, you should definitely check this place out . It is amazing. I know kids would absolutely love it too

We have had the best experience with Show Me Reptiles! They came to our home for our daughter’s birthday party and brought so many critters and gave the most amazing presentation. We are purchasing our first baby with them, a bearded dragon, and they helped us set up our enclosure, know what and when to feed, what is safe versus unsafe, and how to give our baby the best transitional experience and long term life! The staff in Show Me Reptiles are very knowledgeable and I highly recommend checking this store out!! They have quality products, support local, and even carry some of those big names we all trust and have come to like. Their animals look well cared for and loved. I was able to get everything I needed for a new python enclosure and get my questions answered at an affordable price.

All my reptiles are from Show me reptile! 2 Geckos and 1 Skink. I bought a Skink from an online breeder. Was told it was very calm, friendly, good with kids, etc. Paid a pretty penny. Skink arrived and was very aggressive. Felt terrible knowing I had to find it a new home after a month of trying to calm it down. It seemed so unhappy and scared since my household can be a little loud some days with 2 kids. They took my Skink in, I knew they would be perfect with more experience on something like this situation since I have no experience with young or aggressive scale babies. They introduced me to another Skink that was older, had more experience being held, very calm and sweet. I knew he would be perfect! Sat on my shoulder/in my hair the whole ride home❤️ Great service from everyone there. Myself or my man are usually there every other week to grab food/bugs. Always so nice, full of information.
