Scales 'N Tails Las Vegas #2

Stopped by scales for drinks while passing through the international airport on the way to Madrid. It's a great spot to unwind before a flight after check-in. The service was friendly and the drink selection was very impressive. I didn't have a chance to have any food because we were in a hurry however the atmosphere made it feel like a nice getaway. Definitely worth a visit if you have time to spare during your transit wait.

Had a blast in the store.. cute pythons.. snacks for our snakes and really fun staff.. very accommodating. Clean, friendly and healthy reptiles.. Love it!

Just walked in there for the first time. Two amazing ladies greeted us at the door. The lady with the Orange hair was so informative on the tarantula care that I got inspired to buy a few more Ts after my trip to little Cayman this week. Underwater Photography workshop got my pockets tight this week. We walked in, checked out the store, bought some feeders for the dragon and spiders, and left. When we come back, I will be leaving with a few new tarantulas and glass enclosures i am done with the tarantula cribs

I bought a bearded dragon for the first time here and as soon as I brought it home it didn't look to well then 4 days later it died. Then I had gotten a replacement bearded dragon but that same day that I got it not even an hour that I left the store the dragon was blopping it's head it was stiff and not really moving. I went back as soon as I realized that and they ended up giving me a blue tongue skink that apparently they had for a while there. They said it was wild caught and when I took it home it was fine but it wasn't wanting to eat at all whatsoever. I have a blue tongue skink from pet kingdom and she eats greens and ground turkey and bugs and for some reason the one I got from scales and tails wasn't budging to eat anything so I called and they had said that they were feeding it hopper mice 3 times a week and I tried and he didn't even bother to eat. He has the lighting and a big enclosure and uvb and everything so I don't understand what was the issue. He wasn't wanting to eat at all and days later he died. I had woke up to feed him and he was dead I don't know what is wrong with their reptiles but this skink had something wrong with it . If they were feeding the skink their mice that has mites it probably was killing it from the inside. The second time I had went to get a replacement bearded dragon they looked really skinny and weak , one of their employees had even told me that the breeder they got it from must've been a bad breader because I'm sure multiple people have had the same issue with them. NEVER AGAIN do I purchase from this store. I'll stick to pet kingdom because they actually have great reptiles that stay alive more the 1 week.

As a local pet owner of 2 snakes and 2 bearded dragons, this is my go to for food and accessories. I enjoy strolling through to see all their new reptiles and other creatures. Employees are always helpful and friendly.
