I was nervous about becoming a kitten parent but Rene put me at ease by patiently answering my many questions and letting us meet the kittens! We are SO happy with our new addition - she is not only striking and beautiful but also the sweetest, smartest little thing. What I really appreciated with Rene is that it’s clear he really cares about his cats - he even followed up after we took our kitten home to check in on her progress and make sure she was settling in okay. Overall had a very positive experience!

I don’t know who she is. I’ve done this for 15 years, we’ve never had problems like what she describes, we do DNA testing on every breeder, I believe she is a competitor and is just trying to discredit us. I have no reason why she would do that. I hope this helps, all of our cats come with a two year health guarantee. We are so happy to have a new family member that we got from San Jose Bengal Cats. We were pleased with the on-line experience that provided us plenty of information on Bengal cats. And we were even more pleased with the conversation we had with the owner Rene. He was super helpful and answered all of our questions. You can tell how much he loves his work and his cats. We were particularly interested in a Bengal cat because they are supposed to be more hypoallergenic than other cats, and so far, we can see why. Almost no cat hair left anywhere. Although cat dander is where most of allergies come from, these cats have less of that too. Apparently, these cats are very smart and can be trained to travel with you on a leash like a dog; so we are starting our training now and it is going well. Rene was happy to chat about how to train our cat, and we never felt rushed. We highly recommend San Jose Bengal Cats!

Our family has cat allergies so we were looking for a hypoallergenic cat. Luckily, we found the most adorable bengal at San Jose Bengal Cats, and we are all smitten. He is absolute perfection!

DO NOT ADOPT HERE! The owner sold us two kittens in less than 6 months that died due to FIP. Our first $1,800 kitten died in less than two months after $3k in vet bills and our ‘discount’ replacement cat died even sooner. To say the least, we were absolutely heartbroken. We would later do research on social media and found other couples whose cats also died from the same disease who came from the same breeder. And these were just the couples we were able to locate on social media through hashtags. It is a preventable disease passed by the mother cat. He knowingly and willingly breeds sick cats and he does this while excluding liability surrounding this disease in his contract. His lack of animal welfare and business integrity are absolutely horrible and upon further legal research there are no repercussions for breeders like this in California as animals are seen as personal property. His breeding cats are locked up in cages 24/7 besides a few ‘favorite’ cats according to the hired help. It’s really sad. This is 100% for profit and it’s very upsetting. I have never ever trashed somebody on the Internet, but after my experience and everything I have been through, I feel it is my duty to other people and to protect the animals that he breeds. I hope that through word-of-mouth and through greater knowledge spread that his business will eventually dissolve so the suffering can stop.
