Petland Rogers 🐶

Walked in and fell in love. Eddie was awesome and had excellent knowledge to the purchasing process. We were in and out within an hour with out new baby Rottie, Chuchi. Update: Chuchi has been renamed and is now Harlie (named after her father on her AKC papers, Harley). She is absolutely perfect, 4 months later and we are still obsessed. She’s 7 months and a 70 pound mush! She is so incredibly smart and well bred! She is a registered service dog in training and just beyond our expectations.

Friendly staff and dogs are very adorable. The environment doesn’t seem safe for a growing animal. There is no verification or assurance that these dogs get time outside or walked. I played with a dog and it had diarrhea on the floor and tried to eat it. The birds are clipped, which I understand is beneficial in some cases but I believe should be up to the owner to decide. Please do your research about the brand before you adopt is all I ask.

We had gone as a family on Friday 03/21 to look at the cute puppies and my kids absolutely fell in love with a toy poodle but due to the time we couldn't pet the puppy. We went back on Saturday 03/22 so we could look and interact with the puppy to see if it was going to be a match with our family and I told my kids to go and ask one of the workers (her name is CLEMENTINE) to come and assist us with getting the puppy out to pet her and my kids came back very sad and said that she told them that they couldn't pet the puppy because it was Saturday??? So I went and spoke to Clementine myself and asked her why she had told that to my kids as I saw a lot of other people petting puppies and Clementine replied with "are you going to buy the puppy"? and I replied "well, how can we know if you are not giving us the chance to even interact with the puppy" and I asked her to please bring the puppy out so we could see it. I felt like she was giving me attitude from the start-when I went and asked her to please bring the puppy out....but she did bring the puppy, my kids were very excited to play with the little toy poodle.... well, they only got like max 3 minutes of play time when she came back very demanding asking me how I was going to pay for the puppy....??? I told her that it was going to be probably half cash and the rest credit card, and she was very pushy but in a rude and demanding way wanting to know how I was going to pay for the puppy. I told her we were not 100% sure yet but that we were still deciding as a family to see if it was a good match and as soon as I told her that she told us "hand me the puppy back and have a good day" I then asked her, so we don't even get like 5 minutes with the puppy, and you are mad or upset because we are still deciding and you just come and snatch the puppy from us like that? I told her she was being very rude and Clementine then replied that she was going to go get a manager and I said okay that is fine please let your manager know as I would like to speak with the manager myself and let the manager know how rude she was talking to us.... well, she never told the manager that we were waiting for him to come and talk to us, we were waiting in the little "pet room" (with no pet) for over 8 minutes until WE had to call the manager ourselves and explained what happened. He told us sorry about our experience and so on (the manager was nice and professional). Someone needs to teach Clementine some customer service skills if she wants to be successful at her job. I know that their goal is to sell puppies but at last have skills to treat and interact with people first. Very rude person. The sad part is that we left empty handed with no cute puppy as we were almost sure that we were going to be walking out with a puppy that day... not with that kind of experience or attitude from Clementine!!!!

Evan was amazing and so very helpful! Even if you’re not looking to adopt, you can dote on the most adorable puppies that you can tell are so well taken care of by the staff!!

Me and my boyfriend went in to Petland today to look around at the pups, we didn’t expect to fall in love with one!! We brought our puppy home today and I want to give a big shoutout to Destiny!! She was absolutely amazing, she explained everything to us and helped so much! She was so kind and patient and you can tell she absolutely loves those dogs!! She helped us find an affordable price and affordable payments!! If you ever decide to go to Petland please please please ask for Destiny!!!!
