*****wow since I have your attention*****what can I say about petland .... Run in the opposite direction!!!!! do not purchase a puppy from this establishment!!!! you're seeing the good reviews because they promise you 20% off if you leave a good review 馃槈... I purchased a puppy from this establishment November the 21st and the puppy died December 1st they tell you to take the dog to the vet within 5 days which is VCA which is affiliated with their establishment in which their connected to and they're connected to the finance company if your purchasing your puppy that way ..The puppy is going to have a parasite!!! even though they tell you they do parasite prevention is going to be sick and maybe with some other things!!! All of those puppies are sick... I believe they really are coming from puppy mills because they're going to say they come from a breeder and they may give you a name if you look those breeders up ur not going to find them And if you do deeper research or really look at the lower reviews you will see the truth that a lot of other people went through that I did not see in the beginning when I chose to buy a puppy from them... if you do some deep researching with this company you will see cases on top of cases, investigations and that they have been sued!!!!! By numerous people.. In which I do not understand why they are still open but then again they changed their name often if you look at the paper that you sign it's a completely different name than petland on that paper 馃槈..they are a rip off!! you're thinking you're getting a good deal when it comes with all of these perks and supplies and stuff and training and warranties but really you're paying for that and in which you won't be able to get your money back if your pet dies before it's able to even use any of that stuff.... you're thinking you're going to have a new pet and everything is going to be fine when in reality it's not.... I purchased the puppy for my daughter and myself as a birthday gift and my daughter fell in love with the puppy but witnessed the puppy dying in front of her do you know how devastating this is for her and she's nine !!!! then if your puppy dies and you call the store they're going to tell you is nothing they can do and you have to call their claims line and which you can't speak to someone right then and there you have to leave a voicemail and wait for her to call you back and she's not but that's why she say you don't have to leave multiple voicemails but you really do ...and that you're going to receive a phone call within 24 hours Don't hold your breath because you're not and they're going to act as if they didn't see your missed call or your voicemail and even though you have a two-week warranty Don't believe that!!!! And if your puppy dies they're going to want you to pay for a necropsy out of your pocket in which you're going to have to go to Michigan State University to get performed and cost $335 out of your pocket Thats not going to give you a 100% accurate cause of death of the animal so be prepared for that and oh and if you want to keep the ashes of your pet that's additional $200 plus dollars keep that in mind in which you're not going to be reimburse for. They may offer you a replacement dog but why would you want another dog? After what you experienced? AND know that THE REPLACEMENT DOG IS going to be sick just like the other ones.. And if you paid attention when you're in the store majority of the times the dogs are asleep or just laying there or not really moving or shaking very few would be playing around and that's only for a short amount of time.... you want to know why that is I'll let you think about that but do your research and see how they change their names have been sued have multiple different cases against them but yet Is still open and I cannot understand that part why they're still open when it's so much against them.. now are the workers that work there helpful Yes they are kind they're helpful and they're just doing their jobs but the company as a whole is a disgrace.

Petland Novi Introduce

For individuals in Novi, Michigan, and the surrounding areas searching for a "Pet Store Near Me," Petland Novi, situated at 27200 Novi Rd, presents itself as a local option for pet-related needs. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the store based on recent customer reviews available online, encompassing aspects such as their services, environment (as perceived by customers), and notable features, while acknowledging the contrasting experiences reported.

Examining the customer feedback reveals a stark divergence in experiences. One particularly detailed review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, cautioning potential customers against purchasing puppies from this establishment. The reviewer alleges that a puppy purchased from Petland Novi died shortly after the purchase and raises serious concerns about the health of the animals, suggesting the presence of parasites despite claims of preventative measures. This review further alleges a connection between Petland, their affiliated veterinary service (VCA), and a finance company for puppy purchases, implying a potentially problematic system. The reviewer also claims that the puppies may originate from puppy mills, despite assurances of reputable breeders, and advises potential customers to research lower-rated reviews for a more accurate understanding of others' experiences. Allegations of name changes, lawsuits, and investigations against the company are also mentioned, raising significant red flags regarding the store's operational practices and history.

Adding to these serious concerns, the negative review describes a distressing experience following the puppy's death, including alleged difficulties in contacting customer service, a lack of support regarding a health warranty, and the requirement for the customer to pay out-of-pocket for a necropsy at Michigan State University to determine the cause of death. The additional costs associated with cremation ashes are also noted. The reviewer strongly advises against accepting a replacement dog due to the belief that other animals in the store may also be unhealthy. Observations within the store, such as puppies appearing lethargic, are also presented as further cause for concern.

In contrast to this highly negative account, another customer offers a positive review. This customer recounts purchasing a Pomeranian puppy from Petland Novi after the loss of a previous pet. They state that the store provided information about the puppy's background, breeder, and the history of the parents. This reviewer describes their new puppy as "happy, alert, and smart" with no separation issues or unusual behavior. They credit the store for using a "good breeder" and express satisfaction as a long-time customer, having purchased three dogs from Petland Novi over the years, all of whom reportedly lived long lives without health issues. This contrasting experience portrays Petland Novi as a "trustworthy place to find your new forever pal."

Considering these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment and services at Petland Novi. The negative review paints a picture of potential health issues with their animals and a problematic post-purchase support system, while the positive review highlights a positive experience with a seemingly healthy puppy and satisfaction with the store's practices. It is important for potential customers to acknowledge this significant divergence in reported experiences.

Regarding services, Petland Novi evidently facilitates the sale of pets, specifically puppies and kittens, as indicated by the reviews. The positive review suggests that they provide information about the animal's background and breeder, which could be a beneficial service for those seeking transparency. The negative review, however, disputes the accuracy and reliability of this information. The store also sells pet supplies, as is typical for a pet store, although the reviews primarily focus on the experiences of purchasing animals.

Features of Petland Novi, based on the limited information and contrasting reviews, are difficult to ascertain definitively. The positive review suggests a connection with breeders, implying a role in sourcing animals for sale. The negative review alleges a connection with a specific veterinary service (VCA) and a finance company, which could be a feature of their purchasing process, although viewed negatively by the reviewer. The mention of a "two-week warranty" in the negative review suggests that some form of guarantee is offered with pet purchases, although the reviewer's experience indicates potential issues with its practical application.

No specific promotional information for Petland Novi is available within the provided text. Pet stores often have promotions related to pet food, supplies, or adoption events (if they partner with shelters), but there is no mention of such in these reviews. Potential customers would need to inquire directly with the store about any ongoing promotions or special offers.

In conclusion, the customer reviews for Petland Novi present a highly polarized view. One review expresses severe concerns regarding the health of puppies sold, the transparency of their sourcing, and the support provided after a pet's death. The other review describes a positive experience with a healthy puppy and satisfaction with the store's trustworthiness over multiple purchases. Given these starkly contrasting experiences, it is crucial for potential customers to conduct thorough research, consider these reviews carefully, and potentially seek further information or clarification from Petland Novi directly before making any decisions regarding pet purchases. Visiting the store to observe the environment and inquire about their policies and sourcing practices may also be a prudent step for prospective buyers.

We purchased a Pomeranian from Petland after our beloved pom passed before Christmas. The store informed us about the puppy鈥檚 background and the breeder and history of the parents. This puppy is not only happy, but very alert and smart. No separation issues or unusual behavior. I give the store credit for using a good breeder and the breeder credit for a healthy, happy dog. I am a long time customer of Petland in Novi and purchased 3 dogs from them. All lived a long time and never had health issues. Thank you for being a trustworthy place to find your new forever pal!

I went to go see and look at the puppies some of them seem to be crowded with quite a few puppies in one cage. Not to mention a lot of breeds are not purebred and mutts and their prices are outrageous. Also I noticed there was poop sitting in a cage for a bit a puppy was laying and sleeping right by it and it was picked up but NOT sanitized. Not to mention they mostly get one super super tiny blanket and are stuck laying on wired cages.

Eww don鈥檛 know this place existed until I happened to use the entrance at the mall that this store is right next too. Dogs on WIRE floored crates. Reputable breeders DO NOT sell puppies to puppy stores. You are SUPPORTING puppy mills which are filled with misery for breeding dogs, bad genetics which means BIG BILLS for you and sick or old dogs tossed to shelters. Please find a breeder who titles their dogs and does the recommended testing per OFA. Also AKC registry DOES NOT equal a quality breeder. As long as the dog is pure bred, they can be AKC registered. This is the bare MINIMUM a. Reeder should do. Really bottom of the barrel. These dogs over so insanely over prices as well. You can get a great dog from a reputable breeder for 2-3k. 5-6k for a puppy mill dog is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Please don鈥檛 support puppy mills 馃槥
