Great selection of cat food. The cashier was wonderful and informed me that I was purchasing kitten food and was knowledgeable about the risks of feeding an adult cat kitten food, which showed she took her job seriously and cared about her customers and pets. Many other cashiers in this world wouldn’t bother helping, and instead would just go on with the transaction to get the line moving.

My first time at this location was a great experience! The store was well stocked clean, and the staff was very friendly! Well done everyone!

I want to take a moment to celebrate Charlie and Alicia! They were so amazing and beyond helpful Charlie step off the register to help me and recommended the best dog food when I tell you, my dog is chowing down on this food. He’s eating around the wet food to eat the dry food that Charlie recommended so thank you 1 million times Charlie. I also wanted to take a moment to celebrate Alicia. She was so nice to me and PRINCE and she recommended the best flea and tick shampoo. My dog is so happy, and he’s no longer scratching and itching so thank you Charlie and Alicia for your outstanding help

I had a terrible experience at Petco in Wilshire Santa Monica I took my dog in for a grooming appointment, and the employee Evan handled her in a completely unprofessional and inappropriate manner. He grabbed her roughly by the neck, which startled and scared her. Instead of working with her patiently, they refused service altogether. It’s clear that this place lacks the expertise needed to handle pets properly. If you care about your pet’s well-being, I strongly recommend avoiding this place—especially Evan. There are plenty of other groomers who actually know how to work with animals rather than mishandling them and turning them away. Save your time and find a professional who actually cares about your pets!

Rude staff, smells bad. save yourself a trip. Do not go to this location!!! I absolutely hated my experience visiting this location of petco. I had a groomers appointment that I booked 12 days in advance. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was 7 mins late to my appointment. The groomer was so rude and did not take my pet. He said they do not allow late shows and will not take my dog. SEVEN MINUTES?!?! My god, every single establishment in LA has a 15 mins grace period. Even the nicest places in LA. You're telling me 7 mins is a late show that warrants refusal? On top of that, 2 of those minutes were spent waiting for him to get to the desk. It was this older guy at the groomers desk. Very rude, I had an abhorrent experience. Again, will not recommend at all.
