Nice sized store, with lots of pet related items. Merchandise was a bit pricey from days past, but I guess that's the new economy. Employees are very helpful and hnowledgeable generally.

This review is based solely on the grooming department and the groomer named Jessica. Never had any issue at this salon no problems with Jessica in the past until one day we did. Either she was having a bad day or was stressed out because she had so many Appointments that day I don’t know, but clearly she took it out on my dog. I will be filing a complaint and ask for an investigation to review video footage from the salon that day she had multiple excuses and in 4 1/2 hours was only able to wash and dry my dog. After 4 1/2 hours, she called and said my dog wasn’t really into it that day and wasn’t cooperating and to try bringing her back the following day or the day after. I made an appointment for the following day when I arrived. There was another dog inside the grooming salon, so I waited for them to finish at the counter. Once I saw them exit, I walked in to the salon. I stood at the counter for well over five minutes before she finally noticed me. She was bathing another dog and told me to wait 10 minutes later. She came out and said I was late for my appointment. I explained to her that I was not that I arrived on time and explained the situation and what had transpired. Her excuse was I don’t have time to do it now you should’ve been here before that other dog arrived. I explained to her I can’t help it if someone else arrives for their appointment before my appointment time. I honestly do not know what her problem is or what her problem was yesterday but she’s clearly taking it out on me and my dog. I do not trust to bring my dog back to the salon now because I will be filing a complaint to find out exactly what transpired and the 4 1/2+ hours that they had my dog in a kennel.

Very nice atmosphere, with helpful, smiling employees. Petco needs to lower their prices. Paid $19 for a bag of training treats, and they were the least expensive they had. Way overpriced!

This rating is for the grooming. Bad experience the first time then even worse experience the second time. They are not knowable with dogs on how to handle them. I’ve gone to other Petco grooming locations and never had an issue. It’s just this specific location and obviously the one in charge of the grooming (Rita). They need proper training and if they don’t already they need cameras everywhere in the salon to ensure they are doing their jobs correctly and at a good standard and to hold them accountable. I do not trust this grooming location. Will not be returning here.

Fran and her team in the salon are AMAZING!!! From small to large you can be certain that your pet will be well cared for and loved like they are their own. I take my Giant Schnauzer more often than needed because they make him look THAT awesome!! It’s addicting! Thank you Fran! Chippy loves you!!
