I went to Petco this morning for a simple rabies shot, and let’s just say the experience left me questioning who really needed the rabies shot—me or the clinic worker. When I arrived, there was someone ahead of me trying to check in, but they didn’t have all their information ready and was making phone calls to get certain information. I politely suggested to the clinic worker that she could check me in while they gathered their paperwork. Logical, right? Apparently not. Her response? A blunt “You gotta wait until she’s checked in.” No flexibility, no common sense—just attitude. What made it worse? A minute later, she disappeared into the back room to chat with her coworkers… for 10 minutes. So we all just stood there waiting—me, the person before me, probably even the pets questioning their life choices. Even the person ahead of me agreed that the situation made no sense. The only saving grace? A Petco employee (not the clinic worker) overheard us, apologized, and explained that the clinic is a third-party provider that constantly gets bad reviews. Not exactly reassuring. Petco, if this clinic is attached to your name, maybe hold them to a higher standard? Because right now, they’re giving customer service a bad name.

Everyone that works in Petco union has been so helpful and kind to me and my pup baby Biscotti. He gets so excited once we enter the store especially when he’s there to see his favorite person in the world, his trainer Shante. He’s been trained by her since he was 4 months old and I can truly see how much she loves her students and how dedicated she is to helping the pup parents. She’s patients with her students and she adapts the trainings to each dog. I highly recommend getting your dog trained at this petco and with Shante. Thank you to the petco union team for always being available to offer any help I might need at this store.

The Groomers at this Petco are amazing! They are professional, compassionate, accommodating, and just about every positive descriptive adjective you can think of. Just by simply watching our dogs' reactions as we walk over to the counter at the Groomers' station, you can tell that the our friends are treated well and have a great experience getting a haircut and beauty treatments. We used to spend triple the amount of $$ taking our dogs to high class groomers in the area and the dogs were never happy to go back (says it all).

Please report this store. The state of the reptiles in this establishment is deplorable. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I believe the staff doesn’t even notice that these creatures are in discomfort and basically agonizing in their enclosures. They’re full of waste, critters are bleeding, and some are petrified with stuck shed. I have reported them and so should you.
