Excellent store. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would like to thank Tommy, Casey, Christopher and Jeff at the petco on Tampa in Northridge for going out of their way to help me. An excellent crew. They represent this store tremendously. Thanks again . Great job!

I had one of the best experiences here today.😊😊Tommy helped me so much to get things for my dog and Cat. He showed me different tiers of cat and dog food. Told me the difference between regular treats and training treats. Recommend me to my new dog trainer jose, which is so nice and easy to work with. It's my third dog, and I didn't even know about tick shampoo or vitamins for my dog to keep them healthy. The staff is definitely knowledgeable of what they're talking about.

They had just what I needed. They had a quick appointment. Did a great job doing the nails of my dog and made her look beautiful

I stopped by the store today (17 Feb 2025) to purchase canned cat food (Instinct) I Picked around 15 cans, and was ready to take them to the cashier, when I noticed some cans had rodent droppings. The shelve where the cans were had also droppings. Needless to say, I did not purchase any of the cans, I only took one to the cashier, to show her the droppings. I hope the management cleans the store. this can be quite unhealthy for both animals and humans. Maybe get a cat? Thanks

Moises, the assistant manager, refused to give me my 20% discount on my grooming services. I pay the monthly vital care rewards to get the discounts. I even had him look up past grooming services, I showed him that previous employees and managers have given the discounts as they should. Even though he clearly saw the discounts he said no. Discounts are for grooming only. He had an attitude. I walked him to the grooming center to make sure that my dog did get a "grooming", they said yes, of course, he got a full wash and de-shedding (which is the definition of a grooming) still, a defiant No. Sometimes high and mighty loses faithful customers for life. I did like the groomers, but Moises single handedly makes me want to cancel my membership and buy my expensive dog food elsewhere. Oh, and when he did see the previously discounts, he literally accused those who gave me the correct discounts of "stealing from the company". I told him no, just good customer service. He doesn't know what that is, apparently. Very unfortunate.
