Petco

I cannot express how upset I am with this grooming. I’m honestly so sad that they did this to my pup. I posted a before picture of him and how they left him. We’ve been taking my pet since he was little to this Petco for his grooming they always did an ok job except for this last time. They’re excuse was that he was being aggressive towards them and I totally understand if that was the case, which it would be the first time in years that he would do that, that they would just proceed to contacting me to tell me they could just simply not handle his grooming due to his aggression. Instead they did this to him. I would have rather them not do anything to him than to give him back to us the way they did. When I called them to tell them what a horrible job they did, Ralston the groomer, told me that it was because he was being aggressive and then accused me of being a liar because according to his records he has only been there 2 times. I think I would know how many times I’ve taken my own pet to get groomed Ralston, and they were not done by YOU! There were better more qualified and professional groomers working there before you. We’ve never been to any other place simply because my dog was always taken care of and he seemed to be cheerful every other time we picked him up. So we felt like he was comfortable there. Then he told me he tried to contact me many times and I did not answer, which is another lie! The only call I received was to tell me my pup was ready and I picked up the phone the first time, they didn’t think it was appropriate to tell me he was being aggressive? They just told me he was ready only an hour after he had been dropped off. I had no other calls from them. I would have rather them deny his grooming that this!! It is completely unacceptable I’m so hurt for what they did to my dog now he’s going to have dry skin because they shaved him when we didn’t even ask them to do so. It really does hurt to see my pup like that he is not an aggressive dog he’s actually the sweetest dog who loves kids and gets perfectly along with my cat. I’m not the one to write reviews but this one hurts my heart and I have to let other people know what they could do to your dog if you take him there. Never again!!! I don’t care that they refunded some money what they did to my dog is priceless and unacceptable. I feel so bad for my dog and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to my pup.

I only trust Nelly to cut my Shih Tzu’s hair. My fur babies are familiar with her and behaves for her. Sometimes if our fur babies are not having a good day, they will give Nelly a hard time. So I never expect my furry babies to be perfectly cut when they come home. Nelly is very sweet she always greets us with a smile and hugs are babies when we get to petco and always knows my babies names

I always shop at the Petco chain, & normally always have a great experience, but this store, Not too sure. We purchased a large amount of crickets & i thought the amount looked much smaller, so I asked the guy if it were right, he replied yes. So whatever, I didn't want to seem rude, so I accepted them. When we got home, of course, I was right. Only half of what we paid for was there. Therefore, only half of my exotics got to eat that night... Needless to say, I wasn't happy about it. It's not fair to my pets... But WHATEVER!

Petco at The Woodlands (Sawdust Rd.): Polite and knowledgeable cashier and staff. I was greeted when I entered. They were receptive to my small talk. I was shown where to find something in the app. All my discounts and rewards were applied correctly and I was asked if I wanted a receipt.

This store is clearly older and could use a revamp but the employees more than make up for it. I'm terrible with names but the Aquatics lead (Adam I think?) is doing an amazing job with the animals, fish, and guest interaction. The people working here clearly care about the animals and it shows. (Again I'm bad with names) but the older workers that generally work checkout are always friendly and inviting and help make this the Petco I enjoy going to the most.
