Thank you to the Vets at the vetco for saving my kittens life. You noticed the swelling in his belly and was suspicious it was FIP. You were right. I immediately brought cuddles to the animal hospital right after his visit and after a hospital stay and a couple months of treatment and medication he is now doing fantastic. I thank you guys very much.

Refused service for no reason !!!!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The pictures on this ad are the dog that that this review is about and as you can see from the photos, he is nothing at all how we were treated!!! Merlin is a 9lb service dog who is fully registered & licensed both federally & stae registered. Merlin’s trained & still in training for his many service dog tasks but he does accompanies me everywhere including doctors, courts, lawyers offices, supermarkets, pharmacies and more…I have never had a problem. I have never been thrown out and Merlin has never bit anyone in his 13 months of life. HE IS LOVED BY ALL!!! On October 12th 2024 I was refused services for no reason at Petco in Wallingford !!! I went into PETCO in Wallingford after seeing that a nail trim was only $12. HOWEVER…That is only for people that they want to serve. It turns out that Merlin wasn’t welcome there and so instead of them telling me that they didn’t want to serve my dog because they were scared that he was going to bite and growl at them. They just pretended to have full schedules and were very rude and dismissive to my husband and I left in tears. This review is just the beginning of what’s gonna happen to them because I am not letting this discrimination go was it because I was overweight and white was it because my dog really is vicious and mean no you can’t prove that how dare you This I have been badly in 48 years more than I can count, but I have never in my life encounter people working in a place where they’re afraid of animals and that’s what they do is take care of animals. They kept switching between people. afraid of customers and afraid of dogs you gotta be kidding me. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that the first question they asked my 9 pound service dog was if he uses a muzzle I didn’t even know how to answer the question that I answered it wasn’t satisfaction. I never really used muzzle with him. I tried putting one on when he was eating stuff off the ground at six months old and felt too guilty and bad so that was that, never again Why would work as a dog groomer if you’re afraid of a dog growling or biting you? Not saying it’s never happened but to treat every dog like it’s a vicious biting killer is a terrible thing to do.

Better petco than most in terms of fish abuse. Good pricing for fish supplies. They should not be selling Bala Sharks of Tiger Os ars as they get almost a foot long and many aquarists are uneducated on their tank size.

If you want above and beyond customer service, go shop at this petco in wallingford. On Monday, I went into the pet store to buy a new tank for my Russian tortoise and met some of the best staff. I was introduced to a red-footed tortoise named Harrsion and fell in love. Ashlie was amazing and so patient through the process and answered all my million questions. Long story short, on Thursday, Harrison was welcomed into my family with open arms. There are no words that can say thank you enough to Ashlie and the whole petco crew. They made this a seamless transition. I am so grateful for you all, and I appreciate you for bringing my new friend into my life. Harrison and Ash will be best friends!! 10/10!!!🐢🐢💜💜

Really great customer service. 2 years later still the same wonderful service and we left with 2 adorable additions to our family.
