The problem was with the Petco branch, not the delivery person. Petco gave the delivery person the wrong address, so the poor delivery person was calling me, unsure where to go. The address given to him was in a different town about 30 minutes away. Once I got my delivery, two items were missing. I called the store the next day, and the girl who answered was very rude. I am not a rude person, so I can say with certaintly that she was not reacting to me. She would not let me talk and kept talking over me. She told me I could only physically go to the branch to get a refund. According to her, the store could do no wrong and it was my fault the driver was given the wrong address and my fault I did not get all my items. I said to her that it did not make sense and asked if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me that she was the manager and the only manager in that store. I asked her what her name was, and she told me that she did not need to give me her name. She was so rude to me that I ended up hanging up and calling the corporate office. The corporate office was able to re-ship the items for me. Given my experience with the Burlington MA store, I will never shop there again. I have six pets and I will buy my pet products from Amazon from now on. My phone call took place on Mar 31, 2025 at 1003 AM. I would recommend finding out who was answering the phone at that time. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced and you are going to lose customers due to the rudeness of this individual.

First time in took great care of our puppy. We got his shots and his first Halloween costume that ended up being on clearance for $7. Cashier was super nice and friendly. Overall perfect experience.

My boyfriend and I adopted a hamster from this location today. We were extremely impressed by the customer service and the amount of information we got from our sales associate, Zach. Zach took the time to educate us on what would be best for our new pet, and spent 30 minutes with us going through what our hamster, Terry, would need to live a happy life. My boyfriend and I will absolutely be back even thought this store is a little further from us simply due to the customer service. Thank you Zach!!! You were wonderful :-) and Terry says hello!

I have been doing business for years inside the store; experience & staff -5stars! I have been getting my dog groomed in there for the past 2 years-experience & staff-5stars! I had a scheduled dog grooming appointment yesterday morning at 8am. I arrived for my appointment early; 7:55am and at the same time as another 8am scheduled customer. The other customer got out of his truck and U watched him try to enter the store at 8am. The store was still locked and no employee in the salon, so he got back in his truck with the dog. The salon employee arrived at 8:06, unlocked the door and 30 seconds later the customer waiting in his truck entered the store. I waited another 5 minutes for the staff to get settled and checked in. Once the employee returned to the desk from taking the dog out back, I entered the store. I walked in and confirmed my 8am appointment with the staff service my dogperson sitting at the desk. She immediately informed me I was in excess of their 15 minute late window and could not service my dog. I informed her I was actually at the store before 8am and saw her walk into work late. She said their was nothing she could do. I waited 5 weeks for this appointment and was pissed and walked out the door; hence 1-STAR!
