I had an awful experience with the groomers at the Kapolei Petco, specifically with a groomer named Kiana. I brought in my standard poodle, Chase, and gave clear instructions for his grooming, including a "Chase's lamb haircut," keeping his afro long, shaving his nose and eye areas, trimming his body short, and maintaining his legs short due to matting. I also requested a boot cut, clean paws, ear hair removal, and anus expression. I even provided a picture as a reference. However, Kiana completely ignored my instructions and shaved my poodle down to a bald cut, which was the exact opposite of what I asked for. When I spoke to the manager, Jaycia, she was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. Not only did she give me an awful attitude, but she even went as far as to threaten me, saying her husband worked for Petco HR and that nothing I did would have any effect on the situation. She also refused to issue a refund for the botched grooming job. I would not recommend this location or groomer to anyone. The experience was incredibly frustrating, and I advise anyone considering Petco’s grooming services in Kapolei to avoid this place, especially if Kiana is the one handling your pet.

Having help from Nicolas picking fish for our new pond (and some for our established fish tank) was the best experience we've had in a pet store ever. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and polite and with an amazing sense of humor! Nicolas, you made our day!

Typical Petco. Good choice of pets foods, toys and more. There is also grooming on site. Adoption rodeos often. Cats, birds, chinchillas, Guinea pigs and more are also up for adoption on a regular basis. SPCA has cats for adoption on site daily.

Worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Waited to get aquatic plants for my science class for 20 minutes. Employees on the floor stocking and cleaning but no one to help me. Last time I come here. Truly disappointed.

Good store to go to for your pets needs. While they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for today, when I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and asked if I needed help finding anything. I took a stroll around the store and found it to be clean and well maintained. Beware though, if you bring your puppers in here, there are LOTS of treatos!! Spoil your pets!!
