I did not have a good experience with Petco this time. I thought I was getting some treats on sale or clearance but when I paid for them they rang up 12.49, I told the cashier what it showed but she wouldn’t change it. I had already paid for it so I went and took a picture of what it showed but she just smiled and said sorry I can’t do anything about it. I will walk out again without speaking with a manager!! Very poor experience for me!!

My husband and I made online purchases at separate times. One of the items I had said it was in stock. 5 minutes after I placed my order, I got a message saying my order was canceled. So I had to call the store. They said everything was fine. I had selected a substitute item in case my items weren't in stock. Went to pick it up, and the item I ordered was sitting on the shelf, and so was the substitute item. Similarly, my husband made an online order and also picked a substitute item. The item he ordered was not in stock, but the substitute item was. He spoke to a manager about it because now he was out the money from the online order and had to wait 3-5 business days for a refund, and the manager said there was nothing that could be done. If they had only paid attention to the substitute item instead of being in a rush to close the order, this could have been avoided. What's the point in adding a substitute item if it's going to be completely ignored.

I came by this am and the sign grooming hour start at 8:00 am. I tried to call the grooming dept had to leave a message. I saw 2 worker at the door and tried to ask them a question , but one just mumbled something we could not understand and closed the door. I understand the store does not open until 9.00am but a little customer service would have been much appreciated . As we get our pet groomed here and purchase item from this location.

Petco at Hanbury used to be my 'go to' pet supply place to shop but I only shop there now as a last resort. There is never anyone to help you, the employees stocking or in the retail area won't even make eye contact with me, I can NEVER find help in the fish/aquarium section and it's just as well because the selection of tropical fish is little to nothing. The only thing redeeming about this location is the nice cashier who checked me out for the dog food I purchased.
