Petco

Horrible experience at Petco last night. Long time customer, have had trouble getting the services that I pay for, the store is filthy, and the staff is absolutely horrible at problem resolution. We have been having issues for some time, but we're too lazy to find someone new. Interesting now that we are looking for a new groomer all pet groomers in our area have 4-5 stars and Petco gets tops 3. I rarely give a bad review, usually keep that to myself. But I would never, ever step foot in this store again. A call to corporate made me feel better, but I would nicer bring my dog back. I'm only giving one star because I can't book 0. Stephanie, the grooming manager, probably the worst out of all horrible staff has an attitude each time we are there and treated us so disrespectfully, was just horrible. Jason who we used to like, was awful to us. After we left the store Jason called us 10 times, harassing us before we reached out to corporate. The manager Christian was so inept, keot saying he couldn't help us and he was new and couldn't figure out the ap. Young, unprofessional, awful staff all around. Phones were. It working...again. And as we were leaving another customers dog spilled a bottle of cleaning solution. Dogs were drinking it, so I told him to take his dog away and I would be happy to clean it up. I cleaned it up and not one staff member came to help. I can hardly believe it. Simply the worst! Do not use Petco in Ramsey NJ.

I have taken my dog to get washed there quite a few times. The last two times the gentleman there has washed here and both times she came back not being brushed out and not even smelling clean and still had eye crustys. Not to mention she whimpered in fear when he went to take her the second time. We have always had a great experience when the women have bathed her but if the guy takes her you are literally throwing your money away.

Have been going to this store in Ramsey for the past 20 years or so, but never experienced what I faced Sunday night over a return. The manger on duty, a young guy, was very insulting and unprofessional. He kept pointing at the exit door and wanted me to get out. Apparently he was a transfer from their Paramus store, which they are closing, and not experienced. All employees, specially managers, should go through intense customer service training and learn how to be professional so their store would not end up closing. Actually it was Monday night and the manager on duty was Dale. NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN YET.

I don't make it here often since I'm not in the area, but when I do stop, it's always a great store... Nice and spacious and clean, with an excellent selection on hand for both my dog and my reptiles

This is a nice pet supply store. The small animals all look really sad and the is slightly depressing for me. They are priced higher than other pet supply stores but they are easy to find what you want.
