Best experience for being in that location for the 1st time. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to assist you! 11/10 rating. They really know there facts on questions you have with any of the animals and are confident with what they tell you. Very reassuring especially if you decide to adopt any animals that might be your 1st time caring for a new animal you never cared for before.

Had a horrible experience while trying to return an item today. Back in January I bought a UVB lamp kit and when I got home it didn’t work. I finally got around to exchanging it yesterday and when I got home that kit didn’t work either. Today I made my way back to Petco and as soon as I walk in the cashier recognizes me from yesterday. She starts to question how it just so happens that both kits I bought didn’t work. I understand why it would be questioned, but she went on and on saying “how do I know you didn’t take pieces out of this box?” and “how do I know you didn’t break this or burn out the bulb?” She then went on about how now this is “$120 worth of merchandise” and she doesn’t know if she should put it back on the shelf or trash it. It was extremely upsetting being accused of stealing to the extent that she did, all while in front of other customers. I asked for her name which she refused to give me, however I was able to figure out her name is Lindsay. Lindsay should absolutely not be a manager if she can’t be professional while completing returns/exchanges.

Update: I am changing to 5 stars because the store staff is really great. Lindsey is fantastic and very helpful. I appreciate the staff in the store. The Vetco vet was an issue, not the store I brought our new puppy in to get vaccines. He is a 11 month old bulldog. A very shy puppy. Betty was completely afraid of our puppy. She tried to say he was "aggressive". He didn't do anything wrong, didn't even bark. He played with strangers in the store and met other dogs, no problem. But because betty is afraid of dogs, even puppies, she said he was aggressive and tried to sell me a neutering surgery for our puppy. She said it would stop him from being aggressive. She was trying to get me to buy other "services" that were not needed as well. Is this an up-sell scam or is she truly afraid of puppies??? Yeah, an eleven months old bulldog puppy that she's afraid of, he is 15" tall. This same dog is currently in training to be an aid to a disabled person. Avoid betty at ALL costs. For a vet to be afraid of dogs is unheard of and it is unacceptable. Find a new job! Betty mislabeled our dog a different breed on the vet papers. Our dog is AKC registered bulldog we have ALL of the papers. Stay away from incompetent betty. Appalling, she should be investigated!

I thought this store was one of the best and cleanest with their aquariums, but when I went there a few days ago there were multiple deceased fish and dirt in multiple aquariums. I couldn’t trust myself to buy a fish there based on the other dead fish…. The staff there is very kind however.

I love this Petco Store! They have the best selection of items and priced very reasonable. I have purchased a lot of fish items including 10 gallon fish tank complete with everything you need. I have purchased filter assembly and filters for my outside fish quartet, Aqueoun products mostly, because they stand behind their products. I buy and have bought most of my fish from this store as well. Their employees are professional, exceptionally well trained as far knowledgeable, sincere and always a pleasure to do their best to take care of you on your shopping visit. I can not imagine a more sincere and dedicated group of individuals then these sales associates. Today on my visit to the store, Sunday October 27, a very sweet and genuine young lady took very good care of me and her name was Ryn, she has waited on me in the past and is outstanding.
