I come here every week for restocks! Always have what I need which is convenient as other retailers like Amazon and chewy are typically on back order. Staff is pleasant and kind. Good experience overall.

I was turned away for a nail clipping at 4:30pm Friday 12/27. Grooming closes at 6pm. I asked the staff why they are closing early and was told, “ we don’t have any appointments.” Staff member asked another staffer if she could accommodate and she quickly said , “no!” I pleaded with her and again she said, “no, call the store in Upper Darby” I was so disappointed with this customer service. I will never visit this store again.

Today, 8 of 8 containers of dubia roaches, upon inspection, held mostly carcasses and no container had enough live insects to equal even half the number stated. There was no food source in ANY of the containers. Every time I come to this store, the insects they sell are dead or mostly dead. I was desperate for non-cricket feeders for my 3 bearded dragons, so I stopped in today just in case there was a new manager or something. There wasn’t and I won’t be back.

We purchased a guinea pig on Friday, January 24th, from a very unprofessional, unkept Petco in Ardmore, PA. We had to bring our new baby guinea pig to an emergency exotic vet ER at 10 PM that Monday. Peco would not pay for any medical care unless the animal had been brought back to their store and had medical care from one of their vets. We spent over $300 to get her stabilized, and additional diagnostics would have been about $600. We decided to take her home and planned to take her to Petco in Ardmore and continue her medical care by "their vet" the next day. The next day, I called the Admore Petco to inform them of the situation and asked if their vet was on site because the guinea pig was very sick. They again were unprofessional, unhelpful, and demonstrated no care and said "Just bring her in anytime." She died about an hour later. We brought her back to the store as indicated in their contract and to express our concern over what happened. An employee didn't even ask about what happened, took the carrier we had her in, and told the other employee to "make the return." We didn't care about getting refunded, but it would have been nice if they demonstrated even an ounce of care or concern about one of their baby guinea pigs dying only 3 days after being taken home.

Outstanding service, with a friendly and super helpful team. After hearing the benefits of grooming and maintenance for Mr Chow a 4 year old Chow Chow and new addition to the family, I immediately made an appointment. It was definitely worth it and Mr Chow was over the moon with the results. Amanda is a true artist.
