Took my puppy to get groomed Sunday was told she was matted needed to be shaved.Uneven trim shitty job on her nails .NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT WHEN I PICKED HER UP SHE WASNT HER USUAL SELF SHAKING SCARED OF LOUD NOISE SHE ISNT THE SAME AFTER COMING HOME FROM THIS GROOMER.IF U LOVE YOUR FUR BABY TAKE THEM ELSEWHERE..CHARGED ME $116.00 TO SHAVE A 7lb dog

The staff is great for shopping however DO NOT APPLY! I went through it and I was told I had the position. I waited for them to call me back. Nothing. I reached out and they said they had my badge just needed to work things out with their boss and then never contacted me again. If you did not want to hire me I would of appreciated to have been told I did not get the position or that they couldn't hire me. Very unprofessional. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

It is disheartening to observe the insufficient attention given to the welfare of Betta fish. Furthermore, the practice of selling them in containers of minimal size with inadequate water volume persists. During my recent visit to the store, a significant portion of the Betta fish on display were either deceased or in a state of distress. This issue extends beyond Betta fish, as other fish tanks also exhibited a concerning prevalence of deceased specimens. It is imperative that establishments selling animals prioritize their care and well-being.

Bought an item. $40 for a very bad quality pet carrier bag. Never buy this Every Yay sling. A piece of trash. Material is ridiculous. Covers with pellets with 1 wash. Get a nice bag from Amazon for $16. Wanted to return it. Figured out they need a receipt. When I purchased it there, the sales person asked do I need a receipt. I said no. I thought my card will be enough for a return (like in the whole civilized world). But Petco can't do it this way. I asked the store to restore my receipt. They can't. So, they should tell you: "You need a receipt for the return". Now I have a piece of trash fabric for $40 that I will throw to the garbage. That's another story. They are selling trash products for unbelievable price that's only good to trash the Earth. Never go to Petco.

Well, Petco did it to us again! After a few years we thought we would try them out again. In the past we had problems with the groomer not showing up & not finding out until we're in the grooming location.  This is a problem when you wait a few weeks for a grooming. My wife talked to Jennifer yesterday about a face cut.  Jennifer didn't have time and said "in order to get a better cut you need a full grooming. Jennifer mentioned two appointment times so we set an appointment for the next morning.  My understanding was this appointment was for a full grooming for our small pup. Jennifer walks in a little after 9:00. I introduced her to our pup and said we're excited about the grooming and the bath. Jennifer abruptly says "no, that's not what we talked about."  Wow, with that comment, and her abrupt attitude, I decided to say nothing and leave.  The Petco grooming in del Monte center appears to be the same old bad attitude.  Never again.
