Petco

The associate who help us was really nice and knowledgeable about the type of fish we wanted. We wanted the tropical fish. He let us know we did have to get the tank and water ready and wait a week before we could actually put the fish in. Hence why there isn't any fish in the yet. Update: we got the glo fish and 3 snails. My 4 year old is really excited.

I was accused of stealing. Asked to use the bathroom after I waited in line because I didn't want to jump in front of other customers. Another gentleman walked up to the cashier same time as me and asked for the bathroom key. So he let me go first. I asked if I could leave my basket with him since I'm still shopping and that I don't want to be accused of stealing. I come back hand the key to the gentleman, grabbed my basket, and headed back in the store to continue shopping. That's when I heard "You have to pay for that!" I looked at the cashier and said "yeah I know" and continued walking away in the store. The cashier kept talking saying it looked like I was headed to the door. At this point he should of left me alone. I was already in the store. So I told him I'm not stealing, that I'm still shopping and that is why I left my basket with you when I went to the bathroom...so I wouldn't get accused of stealing. He didn't apologize just kept talking trying to justify his discrimination. At this point I raised my voice and said "I'm not a thief, I wasn't stealing, and how dare you accuse me when I'm in the store and told you I'm still shopping. When I got the rest of my items I spoke to the manager and told her what happened. The cashier was still trying to talk to me saying that he understands what I'm going through and knows where I'm coming from. Did he just gaslight me too? I said no you don't, and to just drop it, basically leave me alone. I had to ask for a discount for being harassed, humiliated, and embarrassed, a meager 15% because that's all they could do. Look, Petco I'm never coming back to shop in your stores, and I told everyone I know and I will continue to do so. That people who look like me are usually stopped, followed, or questioned when shopping in public. The one star is because I had to.

Yikes, I came in here and there was a robbery in progress!! Some guy was running out with bags of dog food. The manager noticed and tried chasing him but he was long gone. She said that was the third time he has done this all in one day! Idk maybe move the pallets of dog food away from the front door Petco?? Just a suggestion. Also it seems like inventory at this store is aggressively mediocre.

I hace been coming to this Petco for grooming services for many, many years. Erica has been grooming by two small dogs and they look great every time! Initially, I was hesitant to entrust my dogs to someone else. My male in particular has anxiety and while they aren't jumping for joy when they realize where they are and I will be leaving them, Erica never disappoints! Recently, Mia had to step in and she also did a great job! Highly recommend!

Good selection. They run out of Vital dog food [the logs of meat] in the fridge section, but are pretty good at refilling it promptly.
