Very beautiful tank displays, a pretty diverse selection of plants, and they have plenty of chili rasboras for sale, which I’m always looking for Jeff was very kind and helpful and I’ll be shopping here for my next build.

Scammed: have been going back and forth for MONTHS about having received two EMPTY SNAIL SHELLS and they are refusing to refund the very high cost of shipping! I ordered a blueberry snail from this company and paid a higher shipping fee of $60 which i was willing to do since i know a live animal would need to be overnight shipped. However, when i received my package i found they sent me two empty blueberry snail shells. I reached out (January 3rd) and was ignored. Then i messaged again and was told they would send new snails when they got more in the following week. It’s now March 26th and still no snails or refund. I asked that I’m just refunded my full purchase price and they said they can only refund the price of the snail not the shipping… the snail was about $5 the shipping was $60!? They knew full well they were sending me empty shells and it’s ridiculous to refuse to make up for this. Don’t buy from them if you need to ship your purchases because they will likely scam you too given the opportunity

The fish selection is nice, especially the nano fish. Plant selection is inconsistent and plants don't tend to look great. Prices are high, and the overall feeling is that they are "cheap and greedy". In one purchase, I got some moss. They offered a damaged pack "if I wanted to give it a try", so I agreed, expecting it to be a gift. When I checked the receipt back home (my fault for not checking in front of them), I saw that they charged me full price. I came back because they had fish I couldn't find anywhere else and had similar experiences with money. I know more fish stores around SD now, so I'm probably not coming back.

Helpful staff!! I came in looking to purchase a couple of beta fish for my kids. One of the staff members, King was very helpful with letting me know what I needed to set up my tank. He walked us through how to acclimate our tank before we bring our fish home. I appreciate the fact that he didn’t just let us buy the fish the same day knowing we didn’t have a tank ready. He took the time to tell us how to properly care for our tank and how to keep our fish happy. We also had the opportunity to sit in on one of their aquascaping classes. If you have ever been curious on how they build the beautiful displays at the front of the store you won’t want to miss one of their classes. They go step by step so even a beginner would feel comfortable. We will be back!
