I’m not sure what happened here. For years this was the spot! The workers were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and customer oriented. The orders were swift with a note and a ball, the groomers were consistent. It seems like they had an ownership change or something where overnight everything changed. Every grommet walked out and they can’t seem to keep one for more than a few weeks, the entire staff is new and perhaps have been told not to ask for rewards numbers anymore? The last few times I’ve gone I’ve had to remind them and they seem bothered. Orders are not labeled and there is no more note or ball. The little things keep people at a family owned store and customer service has gone drastically down hill since the turn over. The website is also always unreliable and glitchy. I have heard these same concerns from others.

There was only one worker running the entire store when I went, and ended up waiting 10 minutes for crickets while they cashiered. The cats seemed stuffy and sad, and I don’t think they get enough attention. I tried to talk to some of them but they weren’t interested. One of them seemed sick. Would not recommend.

However, our attempt at their grooming services was an unappreciated experience. We were told that our Dachshund is perfectly healthy as per our recent vet check up, was too old for their grooming services. This came two weeks after initially scheduling the appointment and after I had already taken time off work to take her to the appointment. We were very excited to treat our dog with the senior package that Pet Supplies plus offers, but there seems to be an age limit on that. We were told to take her back to the vet via a phone call a few days prior to our upcoming appointment and the appointment was subsequently cancelled on us. I called our vet and was told that they have not heard of a situation similar to that before. This left a very negative taste in our mouth regarding this company. Apr 07, 2025 · Jessica BillsteinSince making my review on Google as an ex employee about the dirty dusty, no air circulation cat room, I had one of your employees (Lily) question me on a personal social platform as to why I made said post, and then try to cover for Management's short comings like everything I said was not true. Before I quit it was known be everyone that the HVAC doesn't work.. so why bring innocent animals into the mix and let them get sick?There are of course still some very solid members working at this location, but I feel it's extremely unprofessional to not only source me out personally, but then tell me management knows it is me. Great, then I hope he decides to stop putting animals in none viable conditions and maybe consider buying animals from more reputable breeders. But that's not your problem is it? It's just what you deal with and are comfortable selling poorly bred animals. I have the trauma from the amount of souls that left too soon because your previous ASM couldn't be bothered to check the animals correctly. (Including a grossly large amount of fish because Shane wouldn't listen to us about the aquarium care). Now onto my complaint for today. As per the Snarky request from your current ASM here is my lovely review. I made a pick up order with my 30% off coupon at the beginning of this week, mind you I used to work there so I know how this works. My order wasn't even a full week out but it was aging, and management is supposed to okay orders that go back on the shelf after they make a courtesy call . So I found it really odd that when I showed up to grab my order after being sick all "week" and finding that it was cancelled shortly before I walked into the door. Now, I recall management or a supervisor is supposed to call the neighbor who has an aging order to confirm if they still need the order or not. I asked for Management's explanation for this and got a very dull unhelpful "well it's back on the shelf now", with no offer to reconcile my coupon nor did I receive an explanation as to why I was not called before the cancellation. It was very clear I was being discriminated against for my previous review about the cat room being dirty, because after I said it wasn't okay to just cancel with no call your ASM Zavier told me in a snarky tone, "maybe you should make another review about it". I have seen orders sit for up to 2 weeks to almost an entire month at times. That was a very unprofessional retort coming from a manager. If this is how your store want's to retaliate, with discrimination, about reviews from my personal experiences. Then the corporate/franchise higher ups really need to consider reprimanding Zavier and Shane for making this a personal matter. I only commented on my general experience with the cat room, I shouldn't be ostracized for that. I hope "corporate" decides to make the right moves because this is just sad, and besides my very true review I was nothing but courteous with everyone I talked with, there was no reason to lash out.
