Pet Supermarket Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of Pet Supermarket, a pet store located at 1800 W 68th St #140, Hialeah, FL 33014, USA. As a retailer in the "Pet Store Near Me" category, Pet Supermarket aims to provide local pet owners with a variety of goods and potentially some services for their animal companions. You can reach them at (305) 821-5225 or their mobile number +1 305-821-5225 for inquiries about their offerings or store hours.
When searching for a "Pet Store Near Me," local users often seek a convenient location that offers a wide selection of pet supplies, knowledgeable staff, and a positive shopping environment. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Pet Supermarket based on the limited online feedback available, allowing potential customers in the Hialeah area to form their own initial impressions.
Based on the few online reviews, the experience at Pet Supermarket appears to have both positive and negative aspects. One reviewer mentioned a recent remodel of the store and liked the changes. This suggests that Pet Supermarket may be investing in its physical environment to create a more appealing shopping experience for its customers. A modern and well-organized store can contribute to a more pleasant and efficient shopping trip for pet owners looking for their essential supplies.
However, the same reviewer also raised a significant concern regarding the care of live animals, specifically the betta fish. They reported finding multiple dead and moldy fish on the shelf, indicating a potential lack of adequate care for these animals. This is a serious issue that could deter potential customers who prioritize the ethical treatment and well-being of animals sold in pet stores. It also raises questions about the overall standards of animal husbandry within the store. The reviewer urged the store to improve their care for bettas or to cease selling them altogether if proper care cannot be ensured.
On a more positive note, another reviewer shared an exceptional customer service experience with a staff member named Erica. This customer highlighted Erica's helpfulness in resolving a situation involving their cat near closing time. The reviewer was very impressed by Erica's service and commended her for her dedication. This positive feedback suggests that at least some of the staff at Pet Supermarket are committed to providing excellent customer support and going the extra mile for pet owners.
As a "Pet Store Near Me," Pet Supermarket likely offers a range of products essential for pet care. These typically include a variety of pet food options catering to different types of animals (dogs, cats, fish, birds, small animals, reptiles), dietary needs, and life stages. You would also expect to find a selection of pet supplies such as toys, grooming tools, bedding, carriers, leashes, collars, and health and wellness products. For aquatic pets, they would likely stock tanks, filters, lighting, decorations, and fish food. Similarly, for small animals and reptiles, they would likely offer habitats, food, and accessories appropriate for their specific needs.
Depending on the size and focus of the Pet Supermarket location in Hialeah, they might also offer additional services. Some pet stores provide grooming services, such as bathing, haircuts, and nail trims, which can be a convenient option for busy pet owners. Certain locations may also offer pet training classes or host adoption events in partnership with local animal shelters. It is also possible that they sell live animals, as indicated by the mention of betta fish. If they do sell live animals, responsible pet stores ensure that these animals are housed in clean and appropriate conditions and that staff members are knowledgeable about their care requirements.
Given the limited review information, it is difficult to definitively describe the overall environment of the Pet Supermarket in Hialeah. However, a typical pet store aims to create a retail space that is organized and easy to navigate, allowing customers to find the products they need efficiently. Stores often categorize products by animal type or need. The cleanliness of the store and the condition of any live animal enclosures are important indicators of the store's commitment to animal welfare and customer satisfaction. The positive mention of a remodel suggests that the store management is aware of the importance of maintaining an appealing and up-to-date physical space.
For local users searching for a "Pet Store Near Me" in Hialeah, Pet Supermarket at this location presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. The recent remodel is a potential positive, suggesting an effort to improve the store's appearance. The exceptional customer service provided by at least one staff member, Erica, is also a notable strength. However, the serious concern raised about the poor care of betta fish is a significant drawback that potential customers who are passionate about animal welfare will need to consider. It highlights the importance of observing the conditions of any live animals being sold when visiting a pet store.
Without further information, it is impossible to detail any specific promotional offers that Pet Supermarket in Hialeah might be running. Pet stores often have promotions on certain brands of food, seasonal items, or offer loyalty programs for repeat customers. Local users interested in potential discounts or special offers should consider contacting the store directly via phone or visiting their location to inquire about any current promotions.
In conclusion, Pet Supermarket in Hialeah, Florida, as a "Pet Store Near Me," offers pet supplies and has recently undergone a remodel. While one customer reported exceptional service from a staff member, another raised a serious concern about the inadequate care of live betta fish. Local pet owners should weigh these points when considering Pet Supermarket for their needs and may want to visit the store to assess the environment and the condition of any live animals themselves. Further information about their range of products, services, and any ongoing promotions can be obtained by contacting the store directly.

Dec 23, 2024 · Aidileydi RodriguezI would like to say that Erica provided exceptional customer service!!! She helped me with a situation with my cat when the store was about to close. I was very impressed and she should be commended.
Feb 28, 2025 · Villa VizcayaThe staff is very welcoming and very knowledgeable! The whole store is full of love and harmony. Cute animals making everyone smile! This store has one of the best selections of fishes that I have seen so far. Thanks to the staff I found all the perfect treats for my dog! Thank you all for your kindness!
Mar 04, 2020 · Oscar PetersonGot two hamsters, the place was clean, they don't have a lot of animals but have some guinea pigs, hamsters, some birds and fishes. The guy who helped us was very kind and answered all of our questions and helped us get everything we needed.
Feb 20, 2025 · Anamarys LeonThe place has undergone renovations, but unfortunately, the customer service has deteriorated significantly. Upon entering, there was no greeting from the staff. An employee named Melissa, who appeared to be a lead, simply looked at me. The store wasn’t busy at the time. There were issues with the cash registers, and according to the employees, including the manager Ray, the computer systems were down, preventing them from looking up customer accounts or honoring coupons. As more people came in, a line began to form, and both Ray and Melissa were extremely rude almost as if they couldn’t be bothered from their routine to help customers. It's disappointing because this store used to be a pleasant place to shop. The remodel should have improved the atmosphere, but sadly, it hasn’t. I’ve decided not to shop at this store anymore and will be taking my business elsewhere.
