- Excellent Self-Serve Dog Wash: This is a major highlight, consistently praised by customers. The availability of multiple shampoo options and an abundance of towels makes it an extremely convenient and user-friendly experience for owners who prefer to wash their dogs themselves, saving them the hassle and mess at home. One customer stated, "I have been coming here for 4 months for self-serve wash. I love how they give you options in dog shampoos and also they have a lot of towels to dry your dog. Best place!!"
- Friendly Staff: The staff's helpfulness and friendliness are frequently noted as a positive aspect of the store experience. "Every time I come here, the staff is very friendly." This contributes to a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Wide Range of Products: As a "supermarket," it is expected to feature a broad selection of pet foods, treats, toys, and supplies across various categories, catering to different pet types and owner preferences.
- Ethical Concerns Regarding Live Animal Housing: A significant concern highlighted by a customer review pertains to the welfare of live animals sold in the store, specifically rabbits. The reviewer noted "two rabbits housed in a tiny glass enclosure that was far too small for their needs," an "inappropriate" setup, and an "inadequate" water dispenser. This raises serious ethical questions about animal welfare practices within the store and is a critical point for potential customers to consider.
- Setting a Poor Example: The customer review also states that the conditions for the rabbits "sets a poor example for potential buyers," suggesting that the store's practices might normalize inadequate care for pets.
These contrasting points highlight both the convenience and customer service strengths of Pet Supermarket, alongside serious ethical concerns about its live animal sales.

Mar 13, 2025 · Veronica NunezVery disappointed to see two rabbits housed in a tiny glass enclosure that was far too small for their needs. The setup is not only inappropriate but also cruel, as it does not allow them the space to move freely or exhibit natural behaviors. Additionally, the only source of water provided was a dispenser, which has been well-documented as inadequate for rabbits. They often struggle to access enough water to quench their thirst, which raises serious welfare concerns. The conditions in which these rabbits are kept sets a poor example for potential buyers, suggesting that it is acceptable to confine rabbits to tiny cages and provide a poor water source. Given the number of rabbits currently in rescues waiting for loving homes, it is ethically troubling for the store to continue selling rabbits under such circumstances.
Apr 25, 2025 · Faith KarpIt is simply unacceptable to keep living animals and fish in such small enclosures. You shouldn’t be selling them in the first place, instead, encourage to foster or rescue. It’s 2025, do better.
Apr 25, 2025 · Kiran ReidPet Supermarket is a great place to pet shop and bathe your dog.
May 31, 2025 · Jeanne HastyReally shouldn't be selling anything living. They house males and females together. Someone I know bought a pair of guineas thinking they were the same gender and when they found out they were opposite genders they tried to return them a week later and they refused to take the animals back. Dozens of dead fish-not like 5 or 6. It wasn't very clean and even though there were about 5 people working no one asked if we needed help. The treat bar was cute though
