My 9 month old puppy got groomed here and they did a great job and called to let me know what time she would be done so I could pick her up right on time! The store is also great and they are very helpful with any recommendations you need as well! Excited to have found them!

I have been coming here for over a year and I can say, I always have an amazing experience with the staff, the interaction between then and my pets. They are always very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile. They always ask, if I need help with my purchases or loading my pets to the car! I'd give you 10 stars if it were posible!!!

First time pet owner. A few of our close friends recommended Pet Story to us when it was time to bring in our puppy, Cooper, for his first grooming session. Upon arrival, we noticed how clean, bright, and welcoming the establishment was. They sell clothing, toys, foods, almost anything you might need for your pet. I had booked a full groom for Cooper through their website. We were greeted by the staff at the front desk who quickly checked us in (creating a new account and updating information needed on file). Chloe was our groomer and she was absolutely the sweetest. She was patient and carefully explained everything that would go into the grooming session. I had no idea there were fur samples you could look at to decide how long or short you want your furbaby groomed. We received a call 30 minutes prior to the session being finished. Total groom was about 3 hours. I cannot say how satisfied we were with how Coopers first groom went. Chloe did a phenomenal job cleaning out the fur in his ears. His toenails were cut really well. He smelled amazing! (I have to ask what shampoo they used so we could purchase at home to use with him). Overall, for our first groom and Cooper's, we were extremely satisfied with the service we received. I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your animal to get groomed at Pet Story in Mineola. Amazing! My dog hates clipping his nails ever since he got injured at another groomers shop. After going to three different groomers, and trying myself, Pet Story was the only one able to save the day. They provided so much confidence, trimmed overdue nails and were able to provide me with info. We’ve found our new regular groomers. 👍

I've been taking my 5.5 lb dog for a while now to this place. The dog surely comes home nicely done. The people working there are nice and courteous. I would say a good vibe there. But today was a little disappointing with a up charge of $10 for tangled hair. I've never had a issue with my dog having tangled hair. I've never been upcharged like this.I literally have to wash my dog with medicated shampoo for his skin. Brushing out hair has always been part of the grooming process. And I would understand if the dog was seriously tangled up. But my dog wasn't. $90 for a wash, $5 for teeth cleaning, and then $10 for tangled. The tangle up charge was not necessary in my opinion. My dog is so small.
