For reptile enthusiasts and pet owners in Marysville, Washington, and the surrounding areas, Nova Reptiles, located at 1509 6th St, stands out as a specialized local pet store. Operating under the platform category "Pet Store Near Me," Nova Reptiles distinguishes itself by focusing primarily on reptiles and the necessary supplies, including a wide variety of feeder animals. Based on the enthusiastic customer reviews available, this store is highly regarded for its knowledgeable owner, Rami Bryson, its diverse offerings, and its commitment to the well-being of both the animals they sell and the pets of their customers.
One recurring theme in the customer feedback is the exceptional expertise and helpfulness of the current owner, Rami Bryson. Having previously been a valued and dedicated employee under the previous ownership, Rami's passion and knowledge for reptiles, particularly geckos, are consistently praised. For anyone in the Marysville area searching for a "Pet Store Near Me" with specialized knowledge in reptiles, Nova Reptiles, under Rami's guidance, appears to be the premier destination. Customers specifically mention her ability to answer any reptile-related questions, providing a valuable resource for both novice and experienced reptile keepers. Her dedication extends beyond mere sales, fostering a sense of trust and reliability within the local reptile community.
A significant feature of Nova Reptiles is its provision of both live and frozen feeders for animals. One reviewer explicitly states that it is the only place they know of in town that offers this crucial service. This is a significant benefit for pet owners who prioritize feeding their animals fresh food. The availability of live feeders ensures that pets receive nutritious and stimulating meals, catering to the natural instincts of many reptiles. Simultaneously, the option of frozen feeders offers a convenient and safe alternative, reducing the risks associated with handling live prey. This specialization in feeder animals caters not only to reptile owners but potentially also to owners of other exotic pets that require live or frozen prey. When searching for a "Pet Store Near Me" that understands the specific dietary needs of reptiles and other carnivorous pets, Nova Reptiles' focus on feeders is a major advantage, ensuring the health and vitality of their customers' animals.
Beyond feeders, Nova Reptiles also stocks a comprehensive range of foods and supplies for various reptile species, including geckos, bearded dragons, and ball pythons, among "many many more." This suggests that the store aims to be a one-stop shop for all the essential needs of reptile owners, from habitat supplies and heating elements to specialized diets and enrichment items. The fact that customers have successfully purchased and cared for a variety of reptiles, including ball pythons, with guidance from Rami, underscores the store's ability to support reptile ownership at all levels, providing not just products but also the knowledge necessary for responsible care.
The positive experiences of customers who purchased ball pythons from Nova Reptiles further highlight Rami's dedication to responsible pet ownership. She is commended for thoroughly answering questions, providing detailed information on what to expect, and ensuring that new owners are well-prepared to care for their reptiles. This commitment extends beyond the initial purchase, as customers who have been returning for feeders over two years consistently report her ongoing helpfulness and professionalism. This long-term positive interaction builds trust and reinforces Nova Reptiles' reputation as a reliable "Pet Store Near Me" for reptile enthusiasts seeking both quality supplies and expert advice.
Interestingly, Nova Reptiles also caters to owners of small mammals, as evidenced by a customer who has purchased seven pet rats from the shop over several years and expresses their intention to return. This suggests that while reptiles are a primary focus, the store may also offer other small animals, expanding its appeal to a broader range of pet owners in the Marysville area. The positive sentiment regarding the quality and temperament of the rats purchased indicates that the store maintains a good standard of care for all the animals they sell.
One particularly heartwarming anecdote involves the adoption of a previously owned ball python named Dali. Rami facilitated this adoption, ensuring the snake was healthy and suitable for adoption. The customer's emotional connection with Dali and their gratitude towards Rami for making this happen speaks volumes about her care for the animals and her dedication to matching them with responsible owners. The adoption process, including paperwork and a fee, indicates a commitment to ensuring the well-being of the animals even after they leave the store. This unique aspect of offering adoptions further distinguishes Nova Reptiles within the local pet store landscape, highlighting a commitment to animal welfare beyond mere commerce.
The reviews collectively paint a picture of a pet store that is more than just a retail space; it is a center of expertise and a community hub for reptile lovers and potentially other small animal enthusiasts in Marysville. Rami's passion and knowledge are central to the positive experiences of the customers. The store's environment, while not explicitly described, is implied to be one where customers feel comfortable asking questions, receiving guidance, and finding the specific supplies they need for their reptiles and other pets. The focus on both live and frozen feeders as a primary offering suggests that the store is well-equipped to meet the dietary requirements of a wide range of carnivorous pets.
It is worth noting the one piece of logistical information provided: Nova Reptiles is closed on Mondays and holidays. This is important for local customers to be aware of when planning their visits. While this might be a minor inconvenience for some, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the expertise and offerings of the store suggests that customers find the service well worth planning around the operating hours. This limited closure likely allows Rami and her team to dedicate time to animal care and store maintenance, ensuring a high standard of operation during open hours.
The provided information does not include any specific promotional details or mention of loyalty programs. Local customers are encouraged to visit Nova Reptiles at 1509 6th St, Marysville, WA 98270, USA, or contact them directly for any inquiries about current stock, special offers, or upcoming events. Engaging directly with Rami and her team would be the best way to learn about any promotions or specific services they might offer beyond retail sales and adoptions, such as potential workshops or community events for reptile enthusiasts.
In conclusion, for anyone in Marysville, WA, and the surrounding areas seeking a "Pet Store Near Me" that specializes in reptiles and also offers small mammals like pet rats, Nova Reptiles is a highly recommended destination. The store's key features include a wide selection of live and frozen feeders, a diverse inventory of reptile supplies, a healthy stock of pet rats, and, most notably, the exceptional knowledge and dedication of its owner, Rami Bryson. Whether you are a seasoned reptile keeper, a curious newcomer, or a small animal enthusiast, Nova Reptiles offers the expertise and resources you need to provide the best care for your scaly, furry, or other unique companions. The overwhelmingly positive customer testimonials underscore the value and importance of this local specialty pet store within the community, making it a go-to destination for responsible and informed pet ownership.

Jan 28, 2024 · sara HeimbignerThis is the only place that I know of in town, an if I knew of another I would not go there anyway, that sells frozen and live feeders for animals. Cause lets face it I want to feed my pet fresh food and if it still alive then its fresh. They also have all the foods for the rest of the reptiles as well, like geckos and bearded dragons an many many more. I have been going here for about two years now. It was owned by another person and they sold it to the current owner, who was, in my own opinion, his most valued and dedicated employee. Her name is Rami Bryson. Rami is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of reptiles, but specializes in gecko's. If you have a question about anything reptile Rami will answer your questions. Me and my wife bought our first Ball Python from Rami. She answered all our questions and gave me a run down on what to expect, what to do and all the stuff in between. In the two years that we have gone in to buy feeders for our snake she has always been helpful and extremely professional. We bought our second Ball Python from here as well, but we purchased it for our son. Once again answering all the questions we had and going out of her way to make sure that first the snake was taken care of properly an that we enjoyed the snake owning experience. Just recently she had some previously owned Ball Pythons and asked if me and my wife would be interested in adopting one. I went down the next day to see what she had. I immediately fell head over heels for a 3 year old Ball Python with the name Dali. She let me take him home that day since he was out of quarantine and had passed all the things she has to check for to make sure the snake is healthy. I had to sign a adoption paper work and pay a fee. I have to say I never would of thought that a snake could choose a specific person but he did. I enjoy him and I do not know what I would do with out him now. My point is that none of this would of happened if it was not for Rami. If you are interested in what is what I suggest you go in and see her. The only bad thing is that she is not open on Mondays or holidays.
Aug 28, 2019 · Chris SmithWhat a wonderful shop! You can find just about anything reptile or reptile adjacent here that you might need. Animals are humanely kept and beautifully displayed in gorgeous bio-active setups. This is a great place to go to buy or even just to browse.
May 15, 2024 · Amy LuI absolutely recommend this place for someone looking for a well bred and healthy reptile. I picked up two ballie babies from here, and neither has turned down a single meal since coming home. Both are growing at a steady rate, are active, clear-eyed, vibrant and friendly—but still have incredible survival and hunting instincts at appropriate times. We got to see the parents for both, as well, and they also seemed healthy and well adjusted to all the above. The staff is also incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and are willing to share their wealth of knowledge without judgement while also making sure that owners know what’s what with the care of their creatures. They clearly want the best for their animals and for you as their pet parent. Their advice has also helped me with a rescue ballie that I have, and he is flourishing! As someone who has worked in the pet care industry for a few years and who’s partner and co-scaley-parent has as well, we’ve been hard pressed to find reptiles as well bred and healthy as these. Whether you are a well-seasoned reptile collector looking for your next new addition, or someone new who needs some help or direction choosing your best fit and the supplies best to care for them, my family and I highly recommend these incredible folks. I can’t wait to go back!
Dec 30, 2022 · Dusty ArtI just recently got a baby ball python who only wants to eat live food. The staff at Nova is wonderfully knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. I am so thankful for all the help I've gotten with feeding advice with my semi-picky baby boy. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are always some animals to look at. There is always stock on hand for what you need. A great local business I am super happy to support.
