The NEW family that runs this are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the birds and more. I read through some reviews and definitely realized how wrong they are. Really fairly priced and they still cut us a deal with our overall purchase. The store was very clean. We also seen them have rescue birds that were treated poorly from the birds previous home. We drove 2hrs to see these guys and will return for another bird soon enough… well worth it!!

Mar 30, 2025 · Janken FosseAbsolutely awful! I walk into the store and the old owner behind the counter can't even smile at me, just asks what I'm looking for. I look at the ten or so cages full of birds, that are filthy with crap and ask him if he ever cleans them. He says "yeah, once a week"! What else do you have to do? It's a bird store...take care of your birds. Clean the cages. He then says as I'm walking out of the store "What the hell does it matter, it all falls down to the bottom?" I say "Great customer service" and he says that he's owned the store for 25 yrs. Like that justifies the filthy store. I should have said, well you need to retire, but you think of that after you left. I feel really sorry for those birds and will report him to somebody with the city or county and hope it does some good. How can you be so lazy as to not pull out a pan at the bottom of the cage, dump it in the trash and wipe off some perches at the very least? I know he's old, but he just doesn't give a damn!
Nov 16, 2024 · Hummu TriggerIf you don’t know if you should go there because of the reviews GO! This place is AWESOME! Jul 19, 2023 · Lexi Gronlisuper knowledgeable guy up front and he doesn’t like people wasting his time which i very highly respect. he knows more about birds than some vets i believe and he treated me very well when i came in to check out a new parakeet and get some treats. i ended up getting my bird miko from him and he has been a good bird. the only thing i didn’t like was the amount of bugs in the store, but i would be willing to come in and help him out at the store since the wife has passed. i think he just needs an extra hand and the place would be a perfect niche spot to get everything you need from birds, to toys, to food, to especially abc knowledge and advice. thank you for everything you’ve done and i will be a returning customer❤️❤️
