We visited for the first time today, and we were beyond impressed with the quality of products, and the care/knowledge received. The owner was very friendly, and answered any questions. While waiting we looked around the shop, and discovered that all the products are reasonably priced. You can tell that the owner is knowledgeable about proper care for the reptiles, and the birds in the shop. He has high quality setups, ample space, and enrichment for each animal. We're always on the hunt for local places to support, and we will definitely return regularly. We feel more comfortable having a reliable place to go for feeders, and supplies for our newly acquired python. Gilly appreciates everything too!

I visited Global Pets in Bel Air for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to discover this store. Moving forward, I will rely on them for all my pet care needs. The establishment is remarkably friendly and caring, consistently going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The owner is exceptionally kind and committed to providing everything necessary for a successful and happy pet. I recommend this store not only because I want to support local businesses that contribute to their communities but also based on my personal experience. This store has arranged for geckos to be ordered for families seeking gifts for children, which is quite commendable. Furthermore, they provide a complete setup, including a self-cleaning tank, plants, and six months of food to ensure success at no additional cost, thereby easing challenging times for families. Hands down absolutely recommend this little quaint pet shop. I was at first unsure coz it was honestly on a whim that I made the trip across the river to check it out. I was so happy that I did. The young gentleman working was incredible very knowledgeable very pleasant welcoming and just an all around awesome dude. Took time to conversate with each customer that came in on a personal level not just a hi welcome. To take the cake to learn they took in surrenders, I believe that is the most heartfelt thing you could do. With that being said yep I had to just adopt that guy and give him a real loving forever home. Prices are affordable and to be truthful no different those big chain stores. For myself personally I would much rather support the small local and build a relationship that way then just go in and be just another person to walk in the door. I think I have found my go to little shop for all my exotics. 100 percent get the chance to take a stroll here please please please do so, stop there before heading into Belair to petsmart. You won't be sorry trust me.

Global Pets is the best exotic pet store around! Jacob, the owner, is incredibly educated on all the animals he carries and all the supplies needed. He always greets you with a smile and great conversation. If anyone needs anything related to exotic pets, Global Pets is the only place to consider! Such a fantastic addition to the community! They also support other local businesses which is so nice to see. Thanks for bringing your fantastic store to Forest Hill!

I have been a frequent shopper for quite some time now. I am in there about once a week. We now own 6 animals from Jacob. His store is always SUPER clean and his animals are very well taken care of. He will even let you hold some of them! My kids always love visiting there and Jacob is always very good with them. He lets them hold (almost) anything they want to and will answer their 8 billion questions. I highly recommend checking them out. And don’t hesitate to ask about something you don’t see because he more than likely can get it in for you.
