This store is great! My daughter has been wanting a puppy for the longest time. We went to see one of last ones they had available and immediately fell in love! The staff were so knowledgeable and kind to us. Benji is now a member of our family!

This introduction aims to synthesize the available information to provide a detailed overview for potential local customers.

Based on the customer reviews, the environment of Faribault Animal Center appears to be welcoming and conducive to positive interactions. One review mentions a family immediately falling in love with a puppy, suggesting a comfortable and appealing setting for viewing and interacting with animals. The politeness of the staff, as noted by another customer who purchased a bunny, further contributes to a pleasant atmosphere within the store. While specific details about the store's layout or the conditions in which the animals are kept are not provided, the positive experiences suggest a well-maintained and caring environment.

The services offered at Faribault Animal Center, based on the limited information, include the sale of live animals such as puppies and bunnies. The fact that a family was able to find and adopt a puppy suggests that the store may source animals for sale. Additionally, the staff demonstrated a willingness to answer questions regarding the care of a new pet, indicating that they provide some level of customer support and guidance beyond just the point of sale. This suggests that the center aims to ensure that new pet owners are equipped with the necessary information to care for their animals responsibly.

A significant feature of Faribault Animal Center, as emphasized in the customer reviews, is the knowledgeable and kind nature of its staff. The review from the family who adopted a puppy specifically mentions the staff being "so knowledgeable and kind to us." This suggests that the employees are well-informed about the animals in their care and are adept at assisting customers with their inquiries and decisions. Similarly, the customer who purchased a bunny noted that the staff were "very polite and informative" and "able to answer any questions we had regarding the care of her new bunny." The availability of specific types of pets, such as puppies and bunnies, is another feature of the Faribault Animal Center. For local families or individuals looking to add these types of animals to their homes, the center serves as a potential source. The fact that a customer found one of the "last ones they had available" implies that the selection of animals may vary and that popular pets might be adopted quickly. Therefore, it may be advisable for prospective buyers to inquire about the current availability of specific animals.

While the reviews do not explicitly mention the sale of pet supplies such as food, toys, or accessories, it is a common offering in most animal centers. Given that the store is referred to as an "Animal Center," it is reasonable to infer that they likely stock a range of products necessary for the care of the animals they sell and potentially other types of pets as well. My daughter got her first bunny here. They were very polite and informative. They were able to answer any questions we had regarding the care of her new bunny.

Faribault Animal Center sources their puppies from puppy mills in Iowa with documented USDA violations and many, many poorly cared for breeding dogs. If you want to roll the dice on a puppy, go ahead, but know that you are propping up an unethical industry.

I went in for the first time and will not be going back. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Their “puppies” in the kennels in the back of the store are not puppies, they are miniature dogs that are improperly bred. They had actually puppies up front and when i asked how old they were, both employees said they didn’t know. EVERYTHING is over priced and it’s just extremely sad to see how they are mislabeling these animals and marketing them as puppies when they are full grown. The two dogs in the back were “purebred miniatures” and they were going for 1.7K!!!! I was recently going to buy a legitimate pure bred golden retriever for less than that. please do not continue shopping here. adding more to this review because most of these reviews are false and written by employees. idk how to make it more clear. DO NOT go to this store. they get their “puppies” from puppy mills, the employees are all brats, their “puppies” are full grown improperly bred miniature dogs, overpriced materials when you can get literally the same thing at walmart for waaaay cheaper. whole place is a front and a money scheme. idk how they are still in business. TO THE OWNERS: do better and stop abusing these animals. do better and stop overcharging your pet supplies. figure out how to run a business the correct way without exploiting others and these animals. it’s embarrassing. good luck trying to get rid of my review because i will keep coming back to spread the truth.

The Animal Center always has what I need for all of my various pets! We got our puppy from there too and she's the best! Very helpful staff, non-smelly store :-)
