These people dont care about the proper care of their animals. Im a local and scope out this store often to check. They always ALWAYS have dead animals or multiple on very poor care. Their bunnies have poor food for their age, only bad pellets. Theres always dead fish and their birds are often in rough shape as well. I called the store to ask for the bunny breeder so that i can ask questions about care and age so that i can properly take care of it, and the man on the phone was very rude, saying "im not gonna give you my breeders number." I have also heard many instances from other people who have gotten animals from here with many issues they were unaware of. This store clearly only cares about money and likely get their animals from non reputable breeders if they are so unwilling to provide their customers with important information about the animals they are selling. They dont care about what happens to the animals that leave their store nor about the ones in it.

Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC Introduce

For local residents in Jacksonville, Florida, searching under the category "Pet Store Near Me," Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC operates within the Local C67 Flea Market, situated at 11041 Beach Blvd. Based on a review of available customer feedback, there appear to be significant discrepancies in the reported experiences, particularly concerning the care of the animals and the customer service provided. While one customer offers a positive account, others raise serious allegations regarding animal welfare and the store's operational practices. This necessitates a balanced and objective introduction based on the totality of the information available.

One local individual who claims to frequent the store to monitor its conditions expresses grave concerns about the well-being of the animals housed at Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC. This reviewer states, "These people dont care about the proper care of their animals. Im a local and scope out this store often to check." This is a serious indictment, suggesting a pattern of neglect or inadequate attention to the basic needs of the animals.

Expanding on these concerns, the same reviewer provides specific examples of the alleged poor conditions: "They always ALWAYS have dead animals or multiple on very poor care. Their bunnies have poor food for their age, only bad pellets. Theres always dead fish and their birds are often in rough shape as well." These are alarming claims that directly contradict the expectation of a pet store to prioritize the health and safety of the animals in their care. The repeated observation of deceased animals, coupled with the description of inadequate food for young rabbits and the poor condition of fish and birds, paints a concerning picture of the store's animal husbandry practices.

Further অভিযোগ concerns the store's customer service and transparency, particularly regarding animal sourcing and care information: "I called the store to ask for the bunny breeder so that i can ask questions about care and age so that i can properly take care of it, and the man on the phone was very rude, saying 'im not gonna give you my breeders number.' I have also heard many instances from other people who have gotten animals from here with many issues they were unaware of." The refusal to provide breeder information raises questions about the store's transparency regarding the origins of their animals. The alleged rudeness of the staff member during this inquiry further detracts from the customer experience. The reports from other customers about acquiring animals with undisclosed health issues suggest a potential lack of thorough health assessments or a failure to disclose pre-existing conditions to buyers, which can lead to significant distress and expense for new pet owners.

The reviewer concludes with a strong condemnation of the store's apparent priorities: "This store clearly only cares about money and likely get their animals from non reputable breeders if they are so unwilling to provide their customers with important information about the animals they are selling. They dont care about what happens to the animals that leave their store nor about the ones in it." This statement alleges a profit-driven motive at the expense of animal welfare and responsible selling practices, further amplified by the suspicion of sourcing animals from "non reputable breeders."

In stark contrast to these deeply concerning accounts, another customer offers a positive perspective: "Great store, huge variety. The owners are knowledgeable and seem to care about the animals. I bought this beautiful Water Monitor, I took him to Doctor Rossi, just to be on the safe side and he’s been given a clean bill of health. They’re friendly, they’ll talk in length about the animals, try to educate you. I would recommend!" This review paints a completely different picture, highlighting a "great store" with a "huge variety" of animals. The owners are described as "knowledgeable" and seemingly caring, which directly contradicts the other reviewer's claims. The positive experience of purchasing a Water Monitor that was subsequently confirmed healthy by a veterinarian ("clean bill of health") suggests that at least some animals sold by the store are healthy. The reviewer also praises the staff's friendliness, their willingness to provide detailed information about the animals ("talk in length"), and their efforts to educate customers, leading to a recommendation of the store.

Based on this conflicting information, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment, services, and features of Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC. The store is located within the Local C67 Flea Market, which might suggest a less traditional pet store setting compared to a standalone retail space. The environment could be influenced by the flea market atmosphere, potentially being more open or less controlled than a dedicated pet store. The services likely include the sale of a variety of exotic pets, as indicated by the name and the purchase of a Water Monitor. The "huge variety" mentioned by one reviewer suggests a wide selection of animals might be available. The feature of knowledgeable owners who are willing to educate customers is also mentioned, although this contradicts the other reviewer's experience with a staff member being unhelpful and rude.

Given the serious allegations of animal neglect and mistreatment, potential customers should approach Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC with caution and consider the negative reviews alongside the positive one. It would be prudent for prospective buyers to thoroughly inspect the animals they are interested in, ask detailed questions about their care, origin, and health history, and potentially seek a veterinary check-up immediately after purchase, as the positive reviewer did. The stark contrast in customer experiences suggests that the quality of care and service might be inconsistent.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. As a vendor within a flea market, Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC might have varying pricing or special deals that are offered on a day-to-day basis or during specific flea market events. Local users visiting the Local C67 Flea Market would need to inquire directly at the store to learn about any current promotions or pricing for the animals and supplies they offer.

In conclusion, for local residents in Jacksonville, Florida, searching for a "Pet Store Near Me" and finding Eg Exotic Pets & More LLC at the Local C67 Flea Market, it is crucial to be aware of the significantly conflicting customer reviews. While one reviewer reports a positive experience with a healthy exotic pet and knowledgeable, friendly staff, another provides serious allegations of animal neglect, poor living conditions, and unhelpful customer service, including a refusal to provide breeder information. Potential customers should carefully consider these differing perspectives and exercise due diligence when visiting this store. Thoroughly inspecting any animals of interest, asking detailed questions about their care and origin, and being prepared to seek immediate veterinary care after purchase would be advisable. The environment of the store is likely influenced by its flea market location, and promotional information would need to be obtained directly from the vendor.

Disturbed at the conditions of some of the animals. The rabbit was panting the entire time, and was in an enclosure that was way too small. Leopard geckos were emaciated, had dropped tails and were cohabitating in small enclosures (Managed to get a quick pic of one). Many of the reptiles were in incredibly small enclosures without proper heat and lighting. It was very hard to see animals suffering 😡 A sign on the door says no pictures... which leads me to believe they are aware of the poor conditions

First you can’t call yourself an exotic pet store just because you have birds and a bearded dragon. Second the animals are in terrible condition and it STINKS in there. Wouldn’t recommend
