DFW Reptarium

This place is the coolest! As a bearded dragon momma, I went in to get a basking bulb and was impressed by the variety and quality of the reptile products. Prices are a bit higher than some places, but it’s a specialty store, so they have specific items tailored for reptiles, fish, and more, which makes it worth it. The creatures they have on display are also super cool. My heart melted when I saw an Axolotl. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for specialized care for their pets! Worth your trip and time!

This was a really great experience. I picked up a reshoot tortoise for my wife and the very helpful staff answered all my questions and helped me pick out all the things I would need to take care of it. They helped me bring everything to my car and they answered questions I had over the phone even days after my visit. Highly recommended to go here for reptile needs. Also it is a really cool experience to just even walk through it’s like a reptile exhibit in and of itself.

Very well kept reptarium shop. We're new to the area and my son has been wanting a bearded dragon for some time, so I've been doing research for shops in the area. Their website as well as many signs in-store explicitly stated that they will not sell an animal without proof of a proper living environment. (Terrarium set up) The animals appear to be happy and healthy. Plus, they have a little gift shop with items from local and/or small businesses. I bought a cute little turtle and bee as shown in the pictures.

i used to really like this place, but it seems in recent months they have perhaps gotten overwhelmed. the last few times, staff has been very rude, there’s been three times i’ve had to beg for a specific animal while they try and get me to get all of them but the one i asked for, and then are VERY put out doing so. even if it’s the second spider in 🤷🏻‍♀️ personally i feel if you don’t want someone picking their animal, only put one out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and taking a peek at their dart frogs, one is so absolutely malnourished, it’s scary. i listened to STAFF tell someone they didn’t want an old world T because they are mean and scary, but new worlds are nice and cuddly. WHAT? 🤣

Great place! The workers are great and know their stuff!! They have everything you could ever need for your reptile! The reptile there are so cool! If you get the chance, check out their mccaws (not for sale), names are mango and trouble. You'll understand why trouble is called trouble 😂
