Bella Pet Doors

William (Bill) tried to remove the sliding door from its railing so he could install a new custom glass in laid down position. When he realized he couldn't remove the whole door, he became very aggravated and continually cursing at the situation. He kept on trying to remove the door with heavy tools. When that didn't work he kept on jerking the door up down forward and backwards trying to get it off the railing. When he accepted that he cannot install the glass in laid down position he decided to move forward with an upright install of the custom glass without removing the actual door. This caused an extra 1.5 hours to the install time and made William frustrated throughout the time being on site. Towards the end of his installation everything looked good and they were cleaning up. I had to take a work call upstairs and didn't go through a final check while he was on site. They just packed their tools and left. When I came downstairs from my work call, I inspected the door. Right away I realized that the lock no longer locked properly. Also, when looking outside, I see that they left the original glass in the back yard next to my kid's playing area. This glass door weighs over 100lbs and need at least 2-3 people to carry it. I'm post surgery of my knee and do not have strong friends that can move this for me. Furthermore, they placed back my screen door in which also did not lock nor slide properly. I called William McKenna with the issues and he said that his backed up with work and not sure when he can come back to fix the problems. I then texted him 2 weeks later reminding him that we need him to fix the issues and having the glass laid out in the back yard is dangerous for my kids and pets. He said that his worker on vacation and started ignoring my texts. At that point I contacted a professional sliding door company to come out to make the repairs and assist in placing the glass in our garage. They quoted me $175-$275 to come out. I then texted back William asking if he's willing to reimburse me for the added cost of the repairs. He denied to do so and advised me to call friends to move over 100lbs glass door.

Called Bill to get a quote and estimate, he explained clearly all my options prior to working with Tony, who installed the pet door. Tony came by the same week and we were able to figure out the best place for my pet door, the internal sliding lock had to be customized to open away from a nearby door and window and everything was planned and Tony was able to give me great advice on my mounting options, explained the reasons of concern for certain locations and answered all my questions about the mechanics of the door. After the pet door arrived Tony installed it respectfully, and did a clean and awesome job. I would recommend a call if you are looking for a pet door. They were super nice, friendly and was very patient with all my questions. I absolutely recommend you give them a call. It was a perfect experience for me.
