From the moment we met Dr. Kelley, I knew my cat was in the best hands possible. Her passion for veterinary neurology is evident, and her explanations were clear and compassionate. She was upfront and honest and helped me have realistic expectations. My cat had a very large brain tumor, and her situation was critical. But two months ago, Dr. Kelley saved her life. It still brings me to tears, the joy of getting to have my cat back home with me, when I didn’t know if I would. I also want to say how amazing the staff is too. The front desk services Brandon and Lisa were always pleasant and understanding when I called in to check how the surgery was going or ask how my girl was doing postoperatively. I also am so thankful for veterinary technitians (I’m sorry I can’t remember everyone’s name because I probably talked to all of them at some point). I LOVED how they would text me pictures and message after my cats MRI and surgery to let me know how she was doing and gave me the opportunity to kind of see her. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Kelley and the SCAN team went above and beyond, and it's clear they genuinely care about the well-being of their animal patients. I am sooo thankful I had this team taking care of my baby, and I would recommend them to my close friends and family.

Our 9 year old frenchie had seizures randomly a few weeks ago & SCAN got him in asap to see what was going on. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and if it wasn't for Dr Pancotto, we would have never known that it wasn't just seizures. She is so caring and so knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we only had a short time with him after he was diagnosed, but she helped us every step of the way. This was our first time meeting her and We couldn't recommend her enough! The whole office even sent us a sympathy card and it was so very sweet of them. Thank you all for taking the best care of Dually when he needed it most. I know he appreciated it as much as we did. We also have been seeing Dr Kelley for the last few years with our other frenchie who has IVDD. She has done 2 back surgeries on him and saved him each time. She's so compassionate and so informative. She answers all of our questions and takes her time. You can tell how much she truly cares about her patients and we are so grateful for her. With each of his surgeries, and post op she was always keeping us updated and helping us stay calm throughout the process. Valentino loves his new wheel chair and loves zooming around! Dr Kelley is truly one of the best! The whole staff at SCAN is just on another level with how much they care and go above and beyond. We are so grateful for all of you! Thank you!

Dr Ashley Kelly has been instrumental in changing the lives of many Low Rider Dachshund Rescue dogs through her superb surgical skills. She’s a compassionate and trustworthy veterinary neurologist.

I just have to say this place is amazing! Warning - this review might get long but it’s worth it! My beloved dachshund, Jack, who is the light of my life suddenly came down with symptoms of IVDD in early May. I took him to his primary vet who referred me to SCAN in Clearwater. Dr. Cook at the Clearwater location was amazing and so kind. He told me he probably needed surgery but I wanted to try alternative methods first. Literally called my vet the day that Jack needed surgery on his day OFF to discuss my dogs prognosis. I did try alternative methods but after 3 days my dog was fully “down” and unable to walk at all and had to do the surgery. Unfortunately this was on the weekend in which Clearwater location was closed. I had to take my baby to the Naples location. Big shoutout to DR. KELLEY! Her bedside manner was impeccable. Literally called me every day with updates. I felt an instant trust upon meeting her and I just knew my Jack was safe with her and in the best care. Because he was in such bad shape and had to stay so long she sent him home with her tech Sam (who was also just above and beyond amazing) his last couple nights because the bills were racking up! They all just have so much love and care for our pets. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you for helping my baby recover and for being there every step of the way. Won’t ever forget your team and your kindness. I pray we’re never back, but if we are, I’m definitely going right to SCAN.
