Animal City Pet Center

The staff was extremely helpful. We started off by buying all of our aquarium plants and sand here for our tank set up. 3 weeks later we brought in our tank water and had it tested for free to make sure it was ready for fish. It takes about 5 minutes. We then proceeded to buy about 20+ fish for our new tank. The staff was so patient, helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable! The store is so clean, prices are very reasonable, and a must visit if you're in the market for fish, birds, puppies, cats or any pet supplies!

Place was well stocked with animal supplies and animals of all species. Some I’d never even heard of before. I loved all the birds and the seemed to be taken care of properly- all were on pellet diets from look of it. I’d hope they were fed chop occasionally and millet spray treat if possible:) The place had a line pretty long to checkout so I bought nothing. Though I enjoy seeing animals to no end it was very sensory awaking (puppy pee bad) and pet dander was caked on every shelf n item. I understand this comes with owning certain species- like large birds. In my opinion a Very good air filtration device would help with dust & that odor. I struggled to breathe through it. Had that not been the case we all would have stayed longer. Place could use a good cleaning of building/everything. Maybe we came at a bad time, but some of that takes years to create!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service we recieved from everyone at Animal City. After we lost our dog of 13 years we were on the hunt for a puppy. We came across a Facebook posting late on a Friday night and we instantly knew we needed to look more into this Aussie/Schipperke puppy. We emailed that night after they were closed and still got a response within an hour. I went before opening the next day and was the first in the store. I went straight to him and it was love at first sight. The store manager and employees were so kind and helpful. They walked me through the food he was currently eating, gave me his vaccine history and a schedule of the ones he'd need in the next year. The whole process was so thorough and they made it so simple. We named him Leonidas, Leo for short and he has been the most amazing addition to our little family. I would HIGHLY reccomend adopting from Animal City. Their puppies are so well taken care of and healthy. I'm so glad I came across that Facebook post. We couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone at Animal City who helped us make this adoption possible.

By far the best place to get fish! Very reasonable prices. The quality of their aquatic life is excellent. Also they will replace any fish that die within I think 30 days of purchase just as long as you provide a water sample so they can test and make sure your where you need to be at. So if your levels are off that's on you but if everything is as it should be you'll be able to get a replacement fish.

Please think twice before getting a pet from here. My dog is a prime example of horrible genetics. She is a female husky weighing 32lbs and has developed juvenile cataracts due to irresponsible breeding. To further my concerns, she has to be on detox supplements to keep her functioning as she has liver/gut problems. Thankfully, I was able to adopt her to make sure she gets the veterinary care she deserves. Please be aware that this place takes zero concern about the genetics they are putting out into the community. Selling and breeding pets is more than just a cash crop, it’s a responsibility to the species to keep them healthy.
